Planning a trip to Europe and one of the places where I stay wants a cash transfer. I have stayed with them many times before and we usually go through a process of me going to my bank with their bank information and making a direct transfer which costs me a ton of money and is tedious in the extreme. I asked AI about options and was told I could open one of the accounts listed in the title but I can't figure out if one is better than the other.

Anyone have any experience with any of these accounts or similar ones? You can DM me if you don't want to post in the forum.

I have EQ for my local hobby account . I find it quite good. Easy to use and good interface.

I am a sing Wise in A. Korea right now. Sometimes it won't tap at the register so I draw cash as a back up. Used in Europe last year and worked very well for me. Rates are very good and easy to use.

Hope this helps and have a nice trip!

I just got back from Turkey and used the Wise app in my apple wallet without any problems. It’s nice as you can also move currencies to other “wallets” within the app. For instance, if I’m running out of Euros, I could transfer money from yen to euros.

Last time I visited Europe I booked 15 accommodations on booking.com

Stayed 2 or 3 nights and booked the next place first day arriving. No hassle. Wrote a review for each place. Booked bus and train tickets the same way on my phone with in-house wifi.
