Nope!

READ THE USER AGREEMENT!

As posted already: It hoovers up all your personal info and content for Microsoft's use, so they can sell everything about you to advertisers. And let's the NSA double check all our posts, searches and downloads too.

It gives others access to your wifi. Maybe that's a nice option for some people but no way should it be a default.

Yes you can change settings so these things look like they are turned off. I would not trust them.

Remember when the Tories wanted warrantless searches and monitoring of emails? Everyone thought that was bad. Now Microsoft is doing the same thing. Everyone is rolling over and accepting it.

instead of starting new thread will add to here.

I just love Windows 10..... no never installed it. Stayed on 8.1 and turned off all updates, went local account. But for why i love windows 10?
It has finally pushed me over the edge and i started looking at alternatives. Been playing with 2 versions of Linux over the past month
(Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon and Ubuntu 14.04) I have settled on Ubuntu because the look and feel is very similar to the Mac OS.

Ubuntu does everything i need it to do. Even using same programs (Firefox and Thunderbird email) I am still keeping one machine as Windows 8.1 for gaming.
So thank you Microsoft for Windows 10, the best OS i will never run. :)
