Eddie's a good goalie. I watched him a lot when he was with the Manitoba Moose where he was known as "The Lack-ness Monster."Eddie Lack stood on hi head all night,

i kinda think the shots on goal during the second period was the problem: calgary 10 sog, vancouver 4 sogThey capitalized on 2 breakdowns in the third period. Game could have gone either way. That's why it's a best of 7.
right back at ya, slick.I though Jonas Hiller was dynamite! Lack was O.K. but shaky at times.
Me too, grusse, because I've been promised at least 1 Round 2 game already! Playoff hockey gets me hawt...LOL!worst case scenario....the Canucks are guaranteed at least one more home game.
however, with all due respect to agentwhite and Flames' fans, I think the Canucks will win a tough, close series.
does the winner get the Ducks-Jets winner in Round 2?no matter who ends up in round 2,it s/b a beauty of a series.
Time to revisit this topic. So who made bets on this? The playoffs are upcoming but the Canucks will not beat Calgary and will make a quick exit. I am predicting the Flames win the series 4-1.
I don't know which would be worse: Canucks going out in five games or agentwhite being right!Anyone else just remember who is the GM of the Flames? Ghosts coming back to haunt us. Good on you Burkie. Now Canucks, don't go down in a blaze of ignomy in front of your own fans. Pleeez!!!!!!!!!
Thanks although yes the series isn't over until it's over. The Canucks have no heart...it is such a shame that Winnipeg got eliminated. At this time your lookin like a Genius!
AND THEN THEY RALLY!Regrettably, Agent White may be right. I gave up on the Canucks in the Tortorella days, but have been peeking over the fence from time to time since they hired Trevor Linden ... glad they made the playoffs, but I think they don't have the stamina to go deep in the playoffs (no puns intended).
