In Lust Mostly
Benning and Linden have their work cut out in the summer.
bit disappointed in Millers performance. I thought he could have
controlled the rebounds a little better.

much as I like the Canucks, cowboy hats off to Calgary,
they were the better team in every respect.
Considering they made the playoffs after the Torts era is something. One baby step at a time huh?

Miller was injured and I thought it was quite apparent. His left knee rarely bent or went into his butterfly. Looks like a summer of rehab for Miller this summer.

Problem is with Calgary is my customers. Now I have to listen to their shit for years to come. Same with my Boston contacts; they are always ragging on about 2011. Get a life boys, it wasn't you on the ice.

I've done my mourning and still have a positive outlook
with Linden and Benning at the wheels.

ya, you're right about Miller.
I guess I was hoping for the Buffalo Sabres reincarnation of himself–
he did some damage to opposing teams in the East when he was on his game
and had the goods to steal a game on his own. could it be his better years
are slowly disappearing?

next time your Flames and Bruin client give you hard a time,
simply say "that's gonna cost you".

I only watched the last game, but I know this: Everything is got to be going right coming into the playoffs. Lach was never supposed to play so much. Don't know how well he played in playoffs, but he got them there beautifully. Miller wasn't ready to return, and wasn't in top form. You can't lose Burrows and not feel it for the crucial game. Too bad because the good guys are getting near the end of their careers, the young guys not quite ready to assume the mantle. I hear Bieksa is going, and others. The Canucks have been solid entertainment for ten years or more. Can't complain. Good luck Calgary, and good to have you back as a contender. Will keep the west, with Edmonton very interesting going forward.

Look at the bright side of things....at least Vancouver did not have 10,000 DOUCHEBAGS riot and trash/destroy downtown Vancouver.I guess that only happens when the Canucks lose in the final round. At the same time Vancouver's dumbass socialist bike lane loving mayor had to read a poem today whilst wearing a Flames jersey.....depending on your point of view that is also a positive.Wow I have thrown 2 positives into this thread....I think that is good.

Now for the nasty stuff.....suck it up buttercups because the better team won.The Canucks are the cheapest/dirtiest team in the NHL...from the cheap slashes by the Sedins or the dirty cheap hits by Kessler and the total lack of standing up and paying the piper for them. The Sedins are the biggest pair of pussies to play in the NHL....nice and easy to cross check and slash but when it comes to taking lumps for it they run to the bench.

Will the Flames win the Stanley Cup? I doubt it but if it goes to the final round I hope the team gets better officiating than 2004 and that bullshit waived goal in game 6.

In the grand scheme of things...Stanley Cups won by Calgary =1 and Stanley Cups won by Vancouver =0.

Douchebag riots in Calgary =0 and Douchebag riots in Vancouver =2.

Vancouver is behind on Stanley Cups and well ahead with regards to Douchebag riots.....just sayin

the Sedins are pussies?hmm, let's see, they've each won a scoring title, they've each won an MVP(one got a Hart, one got a Lester Pearson)both have proven tough,as in durable,as in very few games missed over what,14 seasons?

as for cheap shots, gee, maybe they are retaliating for all the cheap shots they receive?

btw, I'm not a Canucks fan(les Habs sont la) but I think the Sedins are good hackey players&better people.

re 2004, don't you think it just might be time to let it go?I mean, 11 yrs, time to GET OVER IT.

Yeah, in Cow town they just sexually harass all the females on the Red mile.Plus the fact that when the Flames won the cup , there's that little matter of the kicked in goal in the first round against the Canucks in game 7 in overtime :), so really , there should be an asterisk engraved next to the 89 Flames cup. Actually Van and Calgary are tied for Stanley cups won.

disagree with the kicked-in theory.it went in off Otto's skate,Canucks gave it a helluva series against a much better team(40plus pts ahead in the standings)

the toughest series in the flames cup run.

having said all that, it was 26 freakin' yrs ago,and you\re still agonizing it?as I said to Storm, GET OVER IT.

changing the subj, I hope the Flames beat the Ducks but I don't see it happening.what IS possible is Ferland stapling Kesler to the boards.
