The trial of Derek Chauvin starts soon. The video link provides an interesting analysis. Let's hope the real truth comes out. So hard to determine what really happened but I rely on the justice system to sort it all out.

I was furious after watching the prosecution's opening argument.....feeling George's death was OBVIOUSLY caused by the actions of Derek Chauvin. Eventually I settled down and thought I had better wait to hear both sides first. So far, I don't get the feeling the defense attorney believes the words coming out of his own mouth.

I'm afraid the folks who somehow 'think' Derek Chauvin didn't kill George Floyd, are the same folks who 'think' Donald Trump won the election in a landslide.

The defense argument is: "Who you gonna believe your lying eyes or me?"

In other words, people who deal in facts not feelings. George floyd said he couldn't breath in the back of the cop car, he was having a panic attack in there, they pulled him out and put him on the ground to wait for an emt. You need to restrain people who are high as a kite, cops know how much pressure to apply without choking someone. They do it all the time. My two cents are those in positions of high authority/ responsibility, should be held to higher accountability.

Yeah, keeping a person's neck pinned to the ground with a knee for four minutes after he passes out is a perfectly sane and rational way to restrain someone.

It takes a lot to go wrong for George Floyd to have died. You can't ignore contributing factors just because of prevalence of other factors (this goes both ways, for and against the case against Chauvin).

Let the justice system do its thing. My concern would be the response from the far left if Chauvin is found not guilty...
