Check your closet..:)
I for one pretty much eat what's in front of me. Because in my type of work.. YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOUR NEXT MEAL IS GOING TO BE.

Oh that made me laugh Peyton! I tell people that all the time. Chia seeds I can't do, because of the texture. It's like tapioca...eww...I can't stand how it feels between my teeth. My SO has a speech all about mushrooms too, and how you'd starve to death in a room full of them.

Kale is just a fucked up cabbage. I don't buy cabbage, I don't eat cabbage, (unless it's a side order of White Spot Coleslaw yum!)

Really........I love cabbage and not just as Coleslaw. In fact as Coleslaw it's the one way I don't like it. Well at least it's not my first choice. As to Kale, it was a staple as a child so it had a yuck factor for me, but over the past couple years it has again become a regular menu item for me.

OD'd on yogurt when I was young and haven't touched it since. The red ribbon for me goes to anything that is chocolate and mint together. Ate two boxes of after eights when I was six years old. About an hour later, I left a trail of minty chocolate vomit down the hall that would gag a maggot. Three and a half decades later, I still can't stomach even the smell of mint chocolate. Overall, I'll try anything once, if it tasts good, I'll eat it, if not, I won't.

Look left. Way left.
Hmmmmm.....some of my fave foods......banana and coconut.

Guess I am lucky. Love the smell of coconut and have been cooking with it for a few years.

I do have that allergic/disgust for smell and taste of onions.

Wish I didn't because so many recipes/ peeps include them.

Nice when you the world has variety, in so many ways!

I have a birthday coming up too! At the end of November I turn 'late 40s'. Shall we celebrate together?

Also fuck kale, that shit is vile.
:| I love you. Marry me.

On a less silly note...

I like coconut milk, simply because I'm allergic to dairy and they put some kind of (thickening?) ingredient into almond milk that I have a bad allergic reaction to. Toss in bananas (damn, now that song is in my head again), active probiotic 3.5%+ yoghurt (organic if possible, sometimes greek), and some kind of other fruit (kiwi) or berry (strawberry, blueberry most often) and I have myself a great smoothy.

For protein, hemp hearts (no chia seeds in the house, might add them on occasion though) or vega protein powder (non soy based).

I love most herbs and spices, although cilantro I really only use it to try to add a little traditional flavour to any mexican food I make, or occasionally in soups or gravy.

One thing I can't eat is liver. No way. Even the smell makes me lose my desire to eat. I doubt I could do hoof, tongue, heart or any other vital organ.

Spaghetti squash...same thing. I just can't do it.

Dragon fruit I can tolerate the smell and taste, but not the texture. It's just.... ugh.
