I absolutely love this part of advertising. I would find it so difficult to have sex with someone who was pointedly and deliberately racist, homophobic, who wasn't a feminist, who was classist, etc. My clients align with my political views, land in the same ballpark, or tolerate them. I love talking about politics and I find we can learn a lot about each other and humanity in general. That kind of intellectual conversation--that doesn't necessarily require a privileged education--is what really gets my juices flowing. I love a deep discussion, a friendly debate, a meaningful exchange. Let's get dirty.

Im of two minds..I dont want to visit anti-vaxers or rascists/fascists, but at the same time i dont expect everyone to 'tow my line' and agree with me. Seems like it would be pretty boring and mechanical 'by the playbook' interactions otherwise.
Depending on the racist slant, I'd consider visiting a racist as long as she was racist against my background and I was guaranteed a certain level of service.

There's something satisfying about exposing someone's belief's as subservient to the almighty dollar. 😂😂😂😂

As the Million Dollar Man once said.. "Everybody's got a price..."

Friendly debates are amazing and refreshing. I find them rare though. Many a time people tend to get triggered by asking questions about their beliefs or positions. Really sucks when that happens.

yeah totally. I mean as someone who worked (and still works) in sales and customer service, I think I have a pretty good handle on disagreeing with/questioning people in a way that doesn't make them feel threatened.

Seems like today, 99% of people cannot have a rational debate about anything, let alone politics. You have far too many polarized or ill-informed or outright dishonest viewpoints out there today, met with the growing group of people who are "triggered" by anything and everything. Debate has been replaced by who screams the loudest and discussion by blaming, attacks and making things personal.

This is how it should be. Not everyone gets this though.

Two of my friends and I caught on to this and created our own safe space of sorts to discuss things via a whatsapp group chat. We all have differing points of view and ideologies so it's nice to just have something like that where the collective knowledge is expanded and no one gets hurt. I've re-evaluated many of my views based on my discussions there.

I mean part of it is also self-preservation. If I'm in bed with someone and I find out they're a trump supporter, I'm immediately terrified. But, I have to stay calm and rational to protect myself from a potentially dangerous person.

A contrary point of view is fine as long as you can make a solid supporting argument for it.
Reasonable people have no problem admitting they were wrong if presented with new information.

I draw the line at racism personally. I've known people who are conservative or anti-vaxx and that doesn't always mean they're in turn racist or bigoted, or anti abortion...etc

Not always but I feel like…quite a bit of the time—Maybe even most of the time?—these things seem to go hand in hand.

So I recently came across a profile on LL that I liked and was doing my due diligence....no reviews here on PERB so I thought I would google the phone number and up popped a Youtube page with videos of the SP providing her take on life. Turns out she is a virulent anti-vaxxer and promoter of conspiracy theories about a bunch of things. A total turn off for me. Now I admit that some of you dicks out there might be getting a hard on thinking about an attractive anti vaxxer willing to go down on you. But not me. And leaving aside the content of politics, and how someone leans, left or right, pro or con, here is my question: Can learning about how an SP feels about something (whatever) be a turn off? And even to the point of making you think with your big head. I like to enjoy my time with someone and not have thoughts intrude that upset my carefully crafted (and absolutely correct) view of the world.

I hear ya. I do not expect total conformity, but at some point, one can find out something they believe that's just too much of a turn off to overlook.

I actually prefer knowing if a lady has very different values. One time i was following one on instagram and she posted some stories about bring anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theory stuff. I simply unfollowed and won't see her like I planned. Its same for hate speech or anything like that. Sometimes they post weird shit on twitter too.

When it comes to the conservatives I know they're just convinced NDP and the Liberals are overspenders and bad for the economy...etc most conservative leaning people I knowgot the jab, and a lot of them found the Truckers convoy a big joke

I'd rather use a fleshlight than meeting with a SP that doesn't speak English. There's nothing better than talking with a smart woman.
