Plenty of satisfaction when the right client decides to visit :D
But you wouldn't consider prostitution a career? Just something you do for money even though say 2 or 3 years have passed and you get some stake of personal satisfaction from it. If not, why?

From my experience to most gals it's a job and to some it's a very distasteful job, the gals I like to see try to do a good job and I love the ones who take a bit of pride in their work. It takes a special lady to be successful at this as its a valuable public service that helps a person live a well rounded life that's not ruled just by your right or left hand. The thing is to not overdo it and take a break now and then, that goes for clients and providers. It's easy to lose yourself and become stuck in a rut of delusionment that can lead to unhappyness. For me happiness was a full tank of gas and the tracks full of Ho's, those days are gone now so cherish the ones that make you happy!
If I were to say the term "career provider", I bet you there are at least 3 providers to spring quickly to mind. These are professionals who regardless of if they enjoy their work or not, have had a long term presence in the industry. That's the outside view, and is being debated on right now with use of Oxford dictionaries, and job structure definitions. The inside view is what I'm seeking insight on as well.

making a long term career out of this kind of work is actually unappealing to some pooners...there are some people out there that prefer that part-time student or single mom etc type that is an amateur and is just doing this for a short time to save up blah blah, and get turned off if an SP has been doing this for a few years...Its the same sort of mentality that comes with judging promiscuous women, yet praising men who do the same (rude and disrespectful IMO), because the customer gets to poon a lot longer than the SP they are insulting.

In any case, if this is going to be a long term venture, its best to play it safe most of the time or at least by default, and take lots of breaks or cut down at times periodically
There are ladies who have made long term "career" out of this kind of work. A quick look at several advertising venues, and you'll who could be identified as a "career provider". It's absolutely not the sort of work that most people can make long term, and there are of course pluses and minuses to doing so. At what point could someone be considered a "career provider" then?

Break are good though you have to work under the feast and famine cycle of things. Good money management and structured spending cycle makes taking those breaks a lot easier.

I would say the point it becomes a career is...

when you decide to have an indoor location specifically FOR your own incall or partner with someone long term to designate a space for your business.

when you invest time, money, energy and design skills into creating a professional website, and take tons of professionally photographed photos, and even videos maybe.

when you start filing taxes and business expenses

when you are working hard to build up an excellent reputation to your target clientele

invest in extensive advertising and promotion/marketing

when you decide to get breast implants or some kind of invasive cosmetic procedure purely for your job to enhance your assets and income

there is probably more stuff but can't think of it right now =)
