The Mandoff series was really good - had no idea about all the additional damage that fell on the victims (from the government) afterword's - absolutely insane.
Sounds interesting. I enjoyed that Danish show "Borgen", which was perhaps similar in theme.Started watching Secret City on Netflix. Aussie political thriller, IMO really well done and some pretty well known faces in the mix too.

What's the sequel to Bosch?Ozark is on Netflix.
Second the motion on Bosch. It and the sequel are both brilliant.
Bosch: Legacy is the sequel. One season is already out. Also, a couple of spinoffs based on Bosch (Michael Connelly) characters Renee Ballard and J. Edgar are in development at Amazon. What's the sequel to Bosch?

You're right about the trend to "ex special forces guys" but I find that in Bosch it's downplayed and not central to who he is. It is elevated more in the books, especially in one of them where it's central to the storyline but only because he knew the dead guy in Vietnam. In Reacher he's an ex military cop and so he has some inside knowledge of how that world works that helps him out. In Yellowstone, Casey just kills people so I guess it's kind of centralI watched both Bosch and Reacher, and while I liked both shows (esp. Bosch), have you ever noticed the recent trend of shows where the protagonist has got to be some ex-special forces guy, or else they're just not cool enough to be the real protagonist. (Yellowstone is another one of these, and that's not even a cop type show. Peripheral had some of that too, in a sci-fi context.)
Haven't seen Bosch Legacy yet. I will eventually.
I have yet to see anything from the Ozark series. And I looked into starting Power, but that's like a series of serieses, so not sure if I am ready for the time commitment.
