Yes yes yes! Definitely would fall into the “addiction” category for me. It’s less of a “life choice” and more just what I’ve been doing for the last 20 years, my brain has been wired this way now (good way to put to deathspanker), so it makes it impossible to just quit cold turkey. Yeah, I could quit, but it would probably involve a real “program” of some sort, or years of therapy or something. White-knuckling it to just stop is impossible at this point.

Honestly I would have no problem with it if I were single and just enjoying all these wonderful women. But married to a woman I love and have great sex with for over a decade, plus children in the mix....that’s what makes me WANT to quit. But damn, it’s hard.

I'm 63. Quit this hobby a few times when gor married orin a relationship. Butt last 20yrs single and except 4 a brief time have prefered this lifestyle.

I quit in this country at least. I go to Colombia 3 or 4 times a year. Even adding airfare which is cheap, an airbnb which is also cheap I think it is more economical for me. Pretty much anyone here I would want to see is at least $300/hr. Thats half my plane ticket right there.

I don't know. I'm thinking for some, the hobby has become quite a hassle for something that should be so simple. Most pooners have this, "wah wah wah, I'm taking my ball and going home" mentality. So they profess to quit all the time.

I haven't quit, but I can't remember the last time I saw an escort. I think it's been about 3 years. I've always had a healthy sex life outside the industry and presently the industry has nothing to offer that interests me.

I don't think quitting this 'hobby' is as hard as you might think. I am a living proof of that. I have quit over 50 times since I started 5+ years ago. In last year alone, I quit about ten times. If I can do it, anyone can.

On a more serious note, I have not really quit because I am still enjoying it. But I have slowed down, a lot. From three or four every month in 2014, I gradually cut it down to once every 3 weeks in 2017 to once a month now. I have managed to stay off for over two months at least three four times.

Based on personal experience, I feel that it is not easy to quit, but you can certainly manage it better.

I got a few messages so I will just reply on here.
Medellin is my go to city, less expensive then Cartagena better weather than Bogota. Prostitution is legal in Colombia. Price wise 1hour full service in a nicer casa(brothel) runs about 150000 pesos($60) About the same price for 30 minutes from a stripper at the bar. Facebook girls and there are alot in Medellin not so much other cities will run you around 200000 pesos for a few hours. Street girl around 40000 pesos and that is with a room at a love motel included. One big thing is you really need to know Spanish to fully get the best time, mine is very weak but working on it. You can get a nice airbnb for about $30 a night, of course you can also pay $4000 Direct flight from Toronto to Bogota, leaving from Vancouver I usually pay about $700. Flights between cities in Colombia is cheap, think $40 return from Bogota to Medellin.

I "heard" there's another local [Perb] site which is by invite only for those who are have discontentment with how Perb is running. It's on the "deep web" so it's not searchable. My guess these users may be gone from Perb but haven't given up their hobby.
