Maybe I missed something, but I believe the topic was originally about SP rates, as well as increases in those rates. And there was a post implying that doctors, lawyers, and similar professionals aslo overcharge for their services. Do you realize what doctors have to pay in professional insurance? Or lawyers? Is that supposed to come out of their own pocket? Lawers in general have put in almost as many years in education as doctors, and you are paying for a special skill and knowledge. Most of the lawyers I know are very concerned about what the proceedings are costing the client. I've seen some reduce their rate after reaching a certain amount of fees billed, or even reduce the bill, even though they are not being paid for work they did when they do that. And guess what - lawyers are all over the map on fees, it depends on their years of experience. You would expect a $300 per hour lawyer to give better service than someone at $150, just like SPs!
So, back to the original discussion. Some girls charge higher prices than others, that's a given. What you have to decide is do you want to or can you pay the higher price.
Nobody has sex for "free." A wife provides it to keep her hubby happy and at home. Some SPs provide it because they lack marketable skills for "gainful employmet." Your girlfirend provides it, in most cases I would think, in order to convince you that you want to keep her and eventually marry her. You poon for a variety of reasons - addiction to sex, a need for something different than what you got, or because you're single and tired of the bar scene where you spend a brown or more on a "date" only to have her shake your hand just before going inside the door of her home. At least with an SP, it's a pretty sure bet that you're gonna get laid. What would you do if there were no women providing the service - you'ld be growing warts on your hand.
Finally, I didn't hear anyone complaining about what professional athletes get paid. Gimme a break!

A condom will protect your DICK from everything (provided it doesn't break) but it does not protect the base of the cock or the balls from herpes or genital warts. Once you get them you are stuck with them and can easily spread them. Does that make more sense to you?

It's true that this topic went off on different tangents but regardless, those issues that were presented still should be addressed.
While a lot of ladies are in this biz for the $$$, please remember one thing......it may be good money, but it is NOT easy money! Not when you think of all the associated risks involved.
Secondly, speaking for some and not all, there are SPs, myself included, that certainly wouldn't be doing this, if we didn't enjoy it! This biz is entirely different than any other biz for the women involved since they share a very personal, intimate and private part of themselves, so regardless of the good money, I for one would not do this if I didn't love men and enjoy sex.
Neither do I have to do this! Many, including myself have other jobs, careers and interests and some of us are supplementing our income with this on a part time basis. I myself am an accountant by profession, so please don't make a mass generalization by claiming most of us don't have any other employable skills.
The cost issue first addressed here, is the choice of the men. Either they feel it's worth it and are willing to pay it, or they don't.
Please allow each individual to decide for themselves what they're willing to pay or not pay. It's as simple as that.
