What would happen if the SP you booked turns out to be a school or work acquaintance?

Not all SPs ask for reference checks or personal info aside from a basic description or your name (or alias), so it is possible that you may bump into an old classmate or co-worker. It shouldn't make a difference if you two merely attended the same college at one time or even sat in the same lecture hall for a course with hundreds of other people, but it would get slightly awkward if you have mutual friends. I think most SPs in Vancouver come here from other places to reduce the chances of meeting someone from the same neighbourhood or social circle.

How would you react? Maybe she wouldn't even care as long as you don't make a fuss over it

I'm guessing a great many providers run into people they are acquainted with if they are in business very long. Make it light hearted with a joke about what a small world it is and that you always thought she was attractive so that she can respond in a friendly way too and carry on as you normally would.

I'd probably be laughing my ass off a the situation. My wife has 2 female cousins that I wouldn't be surprised if I can into one day. One actually worked at the Paramount for several years, the other it a decent-looking girl who is about to turn 19 and his a really nice body and is desperate for cash. And I could totally see running into either of them, which is why I usually avoid the cities they live in. I wouldn't been embarrassed, but I don't think I could do the deed with them.

Being from a small town and knowing everyone for about 100 kilometers it's happened to me twice.
The first time I saw...In Surrey...A wife of a friend of mine..I guess I was staring slack jawed in disbelief ,like a village idiot. She walked to my truck and asked if I wanted company.I always thought she had a Shania thing going on, and I almost said "Hell Yeah"..But I hesitated, and she asked if I was Law Enforcement..A moment later I saw her husband walking down a hill towards her, from a distance.
She obviously didn't recognize me,but I knew He would.. and I answered "Yes I'm a cop"..the situation was then over.
The second time I made an appointment in Abbotsford and it turned out it was a friends Ex-Girlfriend...We just laughed it off and caught up on old times.
Till her "Boyfriend" banged on the door....I guess he didn't like to be told to "Fuck Off" and he didn't like the fact that no money had been exchanged.
I tried to close the door to continue our conversation ,but his very large head got between the swinging door and the doorjamb.
It was an accident...I've since been told that she has found employment in the entertainment field.

I've heard of a few cases of it happening over the years where guys unintentionally booked their own girlfriend, or bumped into her while visiting a MP, having no clue she was an escort until then...

If I found out my girlfriend was an escort, the relationship would be over in a heartbeat, I'm monogamous and I expect the same.

I wouldn't even see escorts if I was in a committed relationship.

Now if a guy booked his girlfriend working as an escort, then I would say the two twits deserve each other.

A number of years ago I booked an out call to the apartment I was renting. The ad described her as 6ft tall and shaped like a pinup girl, it was accurate. When I answered the door she was wearing a very little black dress under a knee length coat and six inch heels. She was VERY tall and I immediately recognized her as a waitress in a restaurant I frequented in another town. I was a little shocked and kept her standing in the hall and she said "Well, aren't you going to invite me in?" Almost as soon as she said that she recognized me. She said she was afraid this would happen some day and began to explain why she was escorting etc. As she was talking she began to cry; she wasn't sobbing, but her eyes welled up and tears began to run down her cheeks. I said "Look, just come in for a sec." She was a little hesitant. I told her not to worry; I just didn't think it was a good idea to have her standing in the hallway dressed to kill and crying. "We'll have some tea and just talk." Which is what we did. I let her know I don't share what I do with anyone and she didn't have to worry about me saying anything. She was saving up to pay for further education, she didn't want to be a waitress forever and had plans. She eventually followed through and 'retired'. It was a very awkward situation for us both, but it ended quite well. I only went back to the restaurant once afterward, she was working and quietly joked that I still owed her a $200.00 tip.

From my point of view as a client, it wouldn't really bother me. Also, depending on how I know her (and how attractive she is), I wouldn't mind still proceeding, as long as she is ok with it. Only way I can see myself saying no is if she is related to me VERY closely. Frankly speaking, the idea of running into someone I know .... is kind of hot. I am sure many men have fantasized about it.

I am sure it has happened to at least a few SP's. A bit of humor, I think, can help both sides get over the initial shock and then going ahead with sex or not would be by mutual consent.

I had an SP tell me a similar story once many years ago. At the time she told me she was saving up for law school and expected to have the enough money in a few months and she had already been accepted at UBC. Two years later I found her still escorting. Never asked her what happened, but I assumed the escorting biz pays more.

Okay here is a story. I was going into Vancouver for a dental appointment and was arranging a post dental experience with a gorgeous service provider. I mentioned the appointment to her during a friendly telephone chat and she asked the location of my dentist to give me instructions on how to get to her condo. So I said - the corner of XXXXX and YYYYY. She exclaim OMG that's my dentist's office and she laughed. I just went really quiet and after a deep breath I apologized and said I couldn't come visit her. She kept saying why not and then tried to convince me that she only went to see my dentist on a referral, and the chances of seeing each other there were next to impossible, besides she would never out me. I told her regretfully I was not willing to take that chance. Now you might wonder why I was such a big chicken? The dentist is my niece. Now that doesn't remove the chance that I would encounter one of the escorts I visit in my niece's waiting room or anywhere else I might be doing business in Vancouver, but it is the knowing the escort knows someone from my family, that scares the hell out of me.

If I encountered an escort I knew personally in my day to day existence as someone else, I would not go through with the deed and I would feel uncomfortable with her for ever more.

I wrote about it a while ago... I once had an ex boss visit me (he hadn't been my boss for about 2 years), neither of us knew this while arranging. I stood there scantily clad while we made polite chit chat and I mentally prepared to go through with it. He ended up handing me the bottle of wine and left. Lol. It was pretty damn funny, I couldn't stop laughing after he left. None of my friends had ever met him or knew his name so of course I had to tell them.

Personally it would depend on how we knew eachother... If it was, say, a friend of my brothers I wouldn't be able to do it... But if it were, say, someone like my ex boss from 2 years ago I would think it would have potential to be pretty hot. But that's just me.

oh man does this bring back a memory. so 5 years ago a friend of mine and his wife divorced. the friend and I didn't keep in touch - lets just say he wasn't much of a friend. Fast forward to last year, I answered an ad in the burbs, I tend to prefer curvier women, and the friends ex wife was not curvy at all. So we make the date and arrive at her incall which winds up being there house when they married ( I thought they had sold it in there divorce). So I gather up the courage and go to the door, and guess who answers, the ex friends ex wife.
