Posting as a poll, what will be the nail in the coffin of 45's administration?

  • All the sexual affairs and lawsuits?
  • The financial entanglement with people, countries owning Trump's debt?
  • The collusion with the Russians to fix the 2016 elections?

He cheats on all three wives, acts like a sexist pig, lies constantly, yet the religious right love him. His fans adore him and disregard any criticism. He flaunts his ignorance, and ignorance and obnoxiousness are very popular in his target demographic.

Truly the ultimate Teflon Don.

He will be re elected, unless his diet and poor fitness kill him.

IMHO it will be lying to the F.B.I. (Mueller) about any of the above. Lying to the F.B.I. is a criminal and impeachable offence.

Can I vote "other"? It hasn't happened yet, but it might. Trump is considering it.

If the history is any predictor, firing the Special Counsel (Robert Mueller) can be a step that leads to impeachment.

I thought about that but since it may happen but has not, I left it off. All of the above covers all the things Mueller has been investigating minus the sexual part.

And one more possibility: Trump will run out of people to fire.

It would be hard to accomplish much in an empty White House.

Please let anyone of those undue him or anything else. For every normal thing he has said or done, he does or says 10 more undiplomatic things. I joked with my friends that Mike Pence decided to be his running mate just cuz he hoped once Trump won, something would happen and he would get to be President. Not sure if that would be better but we wouldn't get dumb twitter remarks.

As long as the House and Senate are controlled by the Republicans, then DJT is safe. They still need him around - he still gets favorable #s from Republicans.

In reality what will get him impeached will be not holding to his vows to protect and preserve the American Constitution when he was made President.

1. He has his own personal bodyguards. He doesn't trust the Secret Service. Hilter had his own bodyguard when he became Chancellor of Germany in 1933, it warped into the SS under H. Himmler. Trump is slowly eroding the office of the FBI, the national police force of the United States. He will put his own people that answer only to him and not the Congress or the people of the United States.

2. The TV news showed all his cabinet swearing loyalty to him alone. Not the Constitution, just Donald Trump. (All NAZIs swore allegiance to Adoph Hilter)

3. He is the armed forces Commander in Chief, all armed forces answer to him, and he is putting hardliners in key positions. (All German Officers had to swear loyalty to Hilter)

4. He will eliminate the free press. The internet bill allowing owner of sites to pick and choose their users; giving them the ability to slow or completely stop persons/ideas they don't like.... The attack on free press as "false news". He will eventually have his lawyers tie up the news services that set him in a bad light (those against him). CNN will probably get sued over the Stormy Daniels 60 minutes... (Hilter's NAZIs took over all radio and paper stations by force, giving them the control of the press).
Case in point Cambridge Analytica, and Facebook. Facebook although thought to be a instrument of free expression, is now seen as a stealer of identities, and hence not trustworthy. My thoughts to that is: similar to Murphy's Law "Anything you put on the internet, someone will beg, borrow or steal" for their own benefit.

5. He joked about the President of China, making his office for life, indicating (jokingly or was he serious) that he would like to do that himself. Presidents can only run for 2 terms (4 years for each term), this came into effect in WW2.

6. Under his Administration the US has seen some of the worst clashes between racist and anti-racist groups during rallies/marches.

7. He bankrupted several companies (yet he is a billionaire), where he paid out cents to the dollars to creditors (yet he is still a billionaire). I wonder how close he is to bankrupting America in monetary terms or in his ethics.

I vote someone outs him over his perb handle AKA "Hatrick".... :focus:
That's a serious insult to Hatrick, but he's not hear to defend himself.

Did you really just compare Trump to Hitler??

Personally I'm not a fan of Trump but I'm a lot less worried with him in power than if Hillary was.

First night at the Whitehouse Donald was visited by the Ghost of George Washington. He asked George "What should I do to be a great president.... "Tell the truth, always tell the truth".... "Oh, I don't think I could do that". The next night it was Franklin. Same question... "Be a President for all the people, not just those that are rich or are your friends." ... "Oh I don't think I could do that" Third night, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, Same question... Abe says "Go to the theater"

Scariest scenario is he will be re-elected in 2020.

Second most scary scenario is Mike Pence will be the President in 2020. I have colleagues from Indiana and he was the most disliked politician they could recall ever. The religious Right would love Pence. Recall who got George W Bush elected? The religious right when GWB became Born Again.

So far, 48% of voters in this poll think he will be re-elected.

45's base is the same as before the election and the Democrats do not have anyone in the wings to lead.

Either Americans are apathetic to all the Lies, Deceit and all his un-Presidential behaviour or they truly believe he is what America needs.
