After typing most of my response to a post in the "Quick reply" box, I clicked "Go Advanced" and got this response back:

I've never even seen this before!? I clicked the "back" button and was taken back to the thread but not my message, which I lost completely! I've had other issues when trying to post or go to advanced options but the "back" button has always gone back to my message!!

So what's up with this? What does the above warning message even mean? What's a token?


As for my lost message.......... ARGH. Just totally wasted 20 minutes.

Can't explain why you got the message, the causes are many. A token is a term used for your pass to certain areas of a network. Your token contains your username, password, user rights, whether you are in red and where you are allowed to go, what you are able to see and what you are able to do.
For example, you seem to be in blue right now. Your token does not allow you to post in Independent Escorts, but you can in other areas. The above message could be a corrupt token, or one that expired. In whatever browser you use, logoff of PERB, Clear your History\CACHE, ALL OF IT, and reboot and that might cure the issue,

Sorry to hear the posting is lost forever.

If you are making a significant post (ie. a post made by a women and it takes more than 5 minutes to compose)
You may want to draft the post on your word processor, save it, then open the Perb thread and do a copy and paste.

The token is time sensitive and expires after a set number of minutes ... and your posting took 20 minutes.
Since this is Perb the attention span will naturally be no more than 5 minutes ...

What I'm thinking is that it might be due to my advertiser status having expired right as I was typing my post. I noticed my name was blue immediately after it happened burt can't be sure I was red when I started because I didn't really notice....but I think that's what might have occurred. What a bummer though...

Yes, but as you must realize this is not the first time (or the last! ha!) it takes me over 5 minutes to write a post, and I have never had that warning message or any other message as a result of taking "too long" to complete a post...... hence why this one was puzzling to me.

Yes, when your account was modified all sessions associated with that account would have been reset. Reset session = token expired.

Argh x100 then.
