Perb is unquestionably a social medium.Any of the above except social media. Unless, that is, you consider PERB PMs to be social media.
I agree completely. The voice tells so much more than simple text. But 90% of the time it comes down to text since that is the only option the SP allows.I like to talk, and get a sense of temperment, pleasantness, attitude of the SP.
I'm surprised more SP's don't take that approach to get a feel for the type of person trying to book.
+1 for this. Email for prebooking, text for same-day. Actually my preferences areText, or email, depending on the time frame.
I'm personally comfortable with doing all text, but don't mind a phone call as a requirement for finalizing a booking. I find texting perfect just to get some specifics out of the way, such as where abouts an incall may be, services and restrictions if not mentioned on the ad, as well as any personal requests I may have for consideration. Once all my questions are answered and if I know that the SP is my type then I'll book, if she wants a phone call to finalize then that's reasonable to me. Otherwise I shouldn't have to call an SP to decide if she's the right fit, gets kind of awkward ifI'm given too many restrictions and realize she's not the right fit.I like to talk, and get a sense of temperment, pleasantness, attitude of the SP.

It gets awkward cause most SP's don't like being called to be told, "thanks, but no thanks" after everything. I personally like texting cause I can be at work, and read the reply when I have a chance and have a decision by end of the work day if I want to see the girl. Not sure why it would get awkward.
I often call to get information for a possible future booking, so if I'm not booking right then, I usually end a call with, "Thanks for the information. I don't have time right now, but I'll try to call when I have time."
No negativity, no rejection, an inoffensive way to end a convesation, and open-ended if you do want to book later.
