In Your Wildest Dreams!
Born and raised in Scotland. Came to Canada at the age of 26. Although from the family look, strong suspicion of viking heritage if you go back an awful long way.
There are a lot of traits that may show up, like "Viking disease"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dupuytren%27s_contracture that signify Scandinavian heritage even if your family tree doesn't show any! Finding out my dad had it (it was interfering with his golf grip!) was my first indication of Viking DNA in my background.

5th generation Canadian with a mix of Metis and Prussian heritage. I say Prussian because that's the country it was when we left.

3rd generation originating from Germany on my birth mothers side, father unknown. On my adopting parents who are all I ever knew from 6 months on, 2'nd generation Canadian from Ireland. No heritage customs observed with our family. Totally Canadian.
