What would you pay to walk into a thriving independents business? Now consider there is regular cliental and the person currently makes 10 -15 grand and up per month.

Didn’t Tiana have her site for sale awhile ago? Did it sell?

A business is generally valued at the assets it has, and the reoccurring cash flow it can generate. I would suggest that outside of an agency, the value of an independent escort business is probably worthless because of how personal this type of business is. Essentially you'd be trying to buy clients but I don't think this type of business really lends itself to that type of sale.

who knows...who cares. Just like any business dealing...it is worth exactly what the market will pay. That's the beauty of free enterprise n'est ce pas?

I don't see how an indy's business could be worth anything without the indy the business was based on to begin with.

I suppose...if it's just the indy's business that generates the cash flow...then that would leave you in little other than a position of being a pimp. And, really, who wants that? It goes back to the age old discussion of being indy vs. parlour. While I have never been a pimp, I have certainly been in spots where I have had to ask of the other...."please don't make me act in a manner that will be upsetting to us both"....

I like to buy assets....tangible assets. Anything else is...well...intangible. I suppose the payoff can be high, but the risks equal the payoff. I bought a utility once, but it didn't work out so well. My error.

kindest,

eddie.

I expect an SP could make a bundle selling her business. The asset is "Good Will". She would have to be careful what info she passed on and she would have to trust the buyer to maintain her standards or she would risk violating the trust that her clients had placed in her.

Doctors, massage therapists and other professionals sell practices that have negligable physical assets. Sex work would be some what different but not entirely different.

There would be an automatic link to the new owner's web site with an introduction from the former owner. Clients who had agreed to receive occassional e-mails could be sent one or two notices with an introduction to the new owner and a farewell from the former owner. A lease for the work location could be transferred. A smart sex worker will have substantial assets, tangible and intangible, in her business.

Are you kidding?
It doesn't cost that much to set up your own web site. This business is so personal and all you could buy from someone else is a list of contacts who may or may not be interested in you. And also may not be impressed with you getting a list including their name and contact information. You won't be walking into a thriving business. You're just being scammed. Maybe they'll include a well used bed for a little extra money.
Now an escort agency with good employees or a well reviewed massage parlour is a different story and worth a look at the books but an indy ? Forget it and do it yourself.
