This should be of no surprise coming from me.

Never advance money even if you have known the SP for years.

These pay in advance offers can and usually do end suddenly, sometimes on unfriendly terms and losing your money as a result.

I never learned from my own mistakes and had a similar situation occur 6 years ago but not as a significant financial loss as the recent one.

Hopefully, I have contributed and pooners who are active on Seeking Arrangements or similar platforms pause to realize you can lose your entire donation without any recourse.

I'm back to paying the donation for the play per date, forever.

You are very correct at being cautious badbadboy. Also, I have found if you have a repor over many visits, there is a trusting connection that your going to show and pay up with no problem.

My event: made visit time, sent small etransfer amount. Spent time to shower, get ready. Drove into town. Texted when close for instructions as requested to be TOLD, “come two hours later as you only booked hh, and then I got full hour
booking.. thanks”
I texted back, “I can not as I have plans later on”... then texted “ please do not accept deposit transfer” NEVER HEARD back of course... and deposit was taken. Is this my fault ?

For some of us it’s become a necessary business decision to enforce deposit policies.

My situation might be rather unique (an assumption). I'm a senior. I've had a monogomous relationship for over 50 years. It is only due to an unfortunate health issue that my spouse has lost interest in being amourous. I looked at internet dating sites but realized I'm not interested in a relationship. One of the first things that was clear to me was that the porn industry has been selling dominance and disrespect rather than the mutual respect and caring for others that even casual relationships require.

Back when I started into the hobby, I was desperate for info on how to approach SPs so that we both had a good time. My life philosophy of being as nice as possible in virtually every contact with others seemed to work well and I never felt that my visits were a mercenary transaction alone. So as someone posted - always be nice. Hopefully that advice and other ideas on this thread will help guide new participants in how to be respectful and have fun.

Great post and subject. Exactly my situation with a wife I love very very much. The only added element is I lost a friend to cancer so absolutely committed my self to living a fuller no regrets life. Good stuff
