During my active pooning days 10 years ago, Victoria used to be place to visit for beautiful girls and really good prices. Donations seem to have skyrocketed here…

When I moved to Vancouver from Victoria 10 years ago, my quaint old 600 square foot downtown walk up was $650/month. A coat of paint and a new fridge later and its $1600 today 😂 😢
Edit: almost forgot parking, right downtown, for $100 per month 🤣

While I do agree that discussing pricing is somewhat pointless, what I have found a little unique to Victoria is all of the upcharging for individual extras. I can understand the extra charge for BBBJ or full GFE or Greek or whatever, but pricing each service like it’s a menu at a fast food joint just seems a little too business like. Although this is a business, and I’m clearly paying for a service, it’s nice to feel like there’s something organic about the interaction between you and a provider, which pricing each individual menu item almost entirely eliminates for me.

no point in complaining, the younger new & up coming ladies , most agency girls are definitely breaking down their services like a menu , that’s where they make up for the money the house takes , but if that’s not for you there’s plenty that still offer all inclusive services. Do your homework 😘

Fion, not a complaint it was more an observation of Victoria. Ladies are obviously free to charge as they please but from my understanding cities like Vancouver and Toronto are no different in terms of taking a house fee, but almost universally provide certain services included in a “basic” package that seem to be “extras” here.

I know , things are very very different then 14 years when I started in Victoria. The world is changing , woman are respecting and treating their bodies better & it’s going to reflect in their advertising styles & expectations in clients . My rates are the same as when I started only because I own my incall & don’t have the overhead I once did & most do . X

In addition to the basic supply/demand component is the observation that the market is price inelastic. That simply means that the price increases don't meet with a similar drop in demand. If a lady/agency can raise prices by 20% but only see a 5% drop in demand, then raising prices makes sense. Even if the motivation to raise prices is increased cost of doing business, the reaction of the market (limited loss in demand) will sustain the ability to charge higher rates.

As prices rise, you would expect more ladies to enter as the motivation from earnings improves. Granted the nature of the business has some role to play in reducing market entry. I'll avoid commenting on penetration pricing as it seems too easy.

prices have skyrocketed for everything… not just our hobby. Thanks Trudeau.
I don't vote Liberal, but you cannot really blame any political leader for inflation whether they are Justin Trudeau, Pierre Poilievre, Jagmeet Singh, or Amita Kuttner.

It is usually caused by factors entirely outside of their control; supply chain delays because of covid, droughts and wildfires in California, or even local wage raises to try to keep up with inflation.

I know you're being sarcastic, but the Vancouver SP scene is actually much better than the Vic one. In Van, you can find great providers at various price points. This really isn't the case in Vic.

IMO, the Vic scene has been going downhill for awhile now.
;) I made it look like I was being sarcastic but I wasn't. I lived in Vancouver for a few years and I know what it was like there. I do recommend going to Vancouver for great SP with great services at great prices. I would say Victoria is probably the worse in the country just because we are an Island and everything costs more here.

I moved from Victoria 4 years ago and prior to me leaving there seemed to be an abundance of top quality well reviewed ladies there. Seems like many of the ladies retired during Covid or moved on with their lives. However it doesn't seem like there has been the same number of new ladies entering the business to make up for the retiring ladies. Basic lack of supply. For anyone who has lived in Victoria for the last 5 years just think of all the great providers who have retired or left Victoria.

That is quite enough. We don't allow discussion or debate on pricing for a reason. To expect things to be the same in any way as they were 10 years ago is pure fantasy. Either pay the rates, or go back into your retirement. Thread closed.
