OK, so I guess for me not all negative signs are created equal - some are just points off, while others are an automatic fail. Here's my major categories...

- Junkies / sketchiness / hard drug use: Overall, I will try to avoid hard drug users like the plague (or rather, like they have the plague). Now, I'm not naive about our local scene, but when I see drug use openly advertised ("party" or something similar), or especially signs of crack, opiate, or meth use, or photos where the girl looks sketchy or has needle tracks, that is a deal-breaker.

- Car dates, or offers of BBFS make me very suspicious. See above - "sketchiness".

- Presence of a handler / pimp - If there are any, they should have the sense to stay the fuck away from the clients. At best, their lurking around there is tacky, and at worst, a prelude to a robbery. If they are around, that's pretty much a deal-breaker. (I could probably tolerate a mamasan if the place had a good reputation - call me a hypocrite.)

- Presence of other customers. I have never been to one of those places where the male customers are bumping into each other, but it sounds awkward as fuck. That place with the waiting room, and several guys in line for probably the same SP? No thanks.

- Signs of very high volume (see last point for an example) - not strictly a deal-breaker, but a negative consideration.

- A contact number with an out-of-province area code for an SP who is not a visitor. Makes me suspicious.

- Frequent name and phone number changes for the same SP. Again, suspicious.

- Arrogance; bad attitude; basic dishonesty / disrespect. Always a risk, but if it's already noticeable in the ad, imagine what it's like in person.

- SP is consciously trying to sound or look "ghetto" or "gangsta". I can tolerate a bit of that, but the more there is, the less I like it. My objection is about race or class, it's about attitude (and a bit about my views re: popular culture).

And detecting most of the above is why PERB reviews are very useful - sure, everyone has different tastes, but I consider it a collective "bullshit detector".

Motels for me. I had a bad experience, my only bad provider experience. They are just too sketchy for me, so I could never go to one again.

Ads that say squirter. I'm just not interested in a girl I don't know taking a wizz on me.
Ads that require you give your name. Not that I ever would, does anyone really ever give their real name? Its a weird question, I just skip to the next ad.
Ads with shopped photos. Whats the point other than to hide reality.
Ass that say blow & go. Thats a girl that will put anything in her mouth, anything but my dick.
Why would asking for your name be a red flag? Not all who are asking are looking for your full real name, just simply something to address you by. It's been popular opinion here that pet names are frowned upon, so what would we be able to call you during an appointment? I'm sure some ladies might require a full legal name for a background check but personally speaking I don't care if I'm given a fake first name or not-- I simply need to know what to yell/murmur when the time is right....

I met a fellow the other day who spoke English as his second language and only provided me with his nickname even though I politely asked in person what his name was (guessing my question was lost in translation). So when we were in the midst of things I found myself thinking it would be awkward to say his nickname (which was funny in a cute way because he explained the meaning behind it).

Some are on bp 24/7 for months, but are still working in deperate conditions. What happens to all their money?
- Pimp is taking it
- Drugs/alcohol
- Chronic mismanagement of her income
I don't want to enable any of these.

Just remembered the backpage ad with needles on the bedside table...not going there.

Exactly Claire! I usually ask for a name before the booking but sometimes I forget! All I really want to know is "What would you like me to moan in your ear?"; nothing more!

I agree completely with you Claire and Erica. I always ask for a name real or fictitious, doesn't matter to me. I just need something to save you number as a contact and then put it in my calendar. When someone refuses to give any type of name i save them and refer to them as the last two digits in their telephone number. So when they come to the door I say " Hello Mr. 87, welcome to my house, lets have some fun." :frusty:

I thought everyone has a hobby name just like you don't use your real name as your handle here?

Why is saying that you take care of yourself both physically and with grooming a red flag? Isn't that what you do want to hear? I mean uh, it should be a given but some people are just slobs right, so at least this person whoever it might be is putting it out there that they try to be presentable. I'm new to this hobby and contacting many ladies for the first time I try to be genuine and honest. I don't say I'm young and athletic but I often say that I do my best to care of myself and go to a gym. That at least portrays I care about my appearance is that a bad thing?

I think it's a little more about how it's said. I believe clients mention their appearance and overall physical shape to skip ahead of the line of considerations. That works for me some days. Some days I sift through all my responses like goldi locks, only I refer to myself as goldicocks... Which one will it be ..?;) then I get " hi, 40 year old, good looking, great shape business man brad, looking for a few hours of fun ?! Sounds good to me, ! And business man brad it is for the day !

Why ? He says who he is, something about himself, although brief, but still something and he said what he wanted. I like straight to the point. I get a good chuckle out the texts I get, but I also know it's hard to put the right word together when nerves take over, and many guys don't know proper booking etiquette, so I do work with " rough around the edges" intros, and teach them how to properly contact someone. That is if they can be taught. There are many hopeless wonders out there though. Many .....

I'm sure we've all seen some things that are sad/scary in ads, but if we want to keep it light... here are some things I've had to chuckle at:

- She's in "colledge", "collage", etc. ... obviously not an English major though!
- Recent pics! "(C) 2012" watermark
- New! First day! Well reviewed! ... think about that.
I think my favorite of all is one you still often see on LL:
- 10000% real pics! (Ten thousand percent! And of course the photos are fake!)

(snip)All I really want to know is "What would you like me to moan in your ear?"
"omg I can't believe your magic penis is going to make me come again! I've lost count! It's too much, but I don't want you to stop! !"

Or "Sparky"

You know, I debated with myself as to whether I should've posted that or not. But you DID ask. :D :eyebrows:

Ding ding ding.
For some clients, like many escorts, foreplay is not their thing. Remove DFK and DATY from a session and 30 minutes is sufficient for many who aren't looking to finish a bottle of wine before a session.

Some guys need companionship so they book longer sessions and I guess others need to rush home to their wife and kids. It's mind boggling to me what (and who) guys pay for but to each his own. But nobody should be asking an escort for a shorter session than they offer.
so true agree with you both...the fact is, the average man finishes sexual intercourse in less than 10 minutes, other time can be spent chatting and massaging or not. Unless you're looking for a luxury experience with wining and dining, or expect your SP to be a non-stop jungle gym, 30 minutes is more than sufficient, actually 20 minutes seems to be the average time slot for most gents.

yes that would be the average, most are within 5 mins, or 2...anything longer than 15 mins and if you don't have the stamina to keep up, you've got some issues (death grip, porn addiction, drinking, being high, ED if you go limp, or just not into it etc)

I always used to think that clients that booked 2 hours fucked for 1 hour and 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

Most of the SPs that I have seen however agreed with your assessment 100%. ;)

Clients who talk graphically about wanting me to dominate and forcefully "do them " 9/10 it's a no show or last minute cancelation, and knowing this I don't bother penciling them in and just wait for the excuse. All the tAlk but cAnt bring their scaredy cat assess to me. Serious clients mention it but rarely go into graphic detail. The more graphic messages are, in general, that more or less go over play by plays of what the person wants to do end up being WOTs.

Between showering when I arrive and again after the deed, a few times with my regular girl who has since retired, I've spent more time total in the shower then in the bed. But business was taken care of and that's what it's all about

The I am a student/model and have only a few slots for this month. Book now.

This is starting to sound fishy unless I see a lot of reviews.
