Perhaps I don't understand the question. The answer seems obvious - the SP wants a call shortly before the session to ensure that we're both on track. What other meaning could there be? Given the number of times that there is a no-show by one or the other party, it seems a reasonable precaution.Creole Lady Marmalade said:when you call an escort and they ask you to call back to confirm an appointment?

stryker said:Your question is a bit vague, but I would think that the escort would like a call to confirm the appointment,,now,,this brings up the question of the time lineIs this one hour before/the day before/a 10 minute warning??

after being asked to call to confirm first. I was running late and told him so, he lost it on me but I clearly told him (with a witness), "I didn't ask you to come down, I asked you to call to confirm." And now I feel like I'm in the wrong.
Well, based on your side of the story, there's no reason to feel like you're in the wrong. There was a failure of communication. It happens a lot, sometimes despite the best efforts of both parties. Too bad the guy lost it, but on the bright side, if he's that edgy perhaps it's best that you didn't meet.Creole Lady Marmalade said:... And now I feel like I'm in the wrong.

I wish everyone can think this way. Even if it is the lady fault, it is no need to make thing big. After all one wants to meet the lady, but with such an attitude who wants to see such a client! As Eden said, we all play happily in a big sand box!stryker said:Well then,he's just a fucking looser is all, everyone has an off day and gets caught up in real life situations,so what,,you told him you were running late,at least you aknowledged the fact,,just chalk it up to a dippshit![]()
Above all communication is the key,I know being on a phone, some things can be missenterpreted
Exactly right about cutting down on crank appointments, steverino.steverino said:It may reduce the number of crank appointments. Someone may make a bullshit booking, but if they have to call back some hours or even minutes later they may give up on it.
What I don't like is when they ask you to call "when you get close to the location" before they give you the address.
like you i book far in advance and like the communication the day of the meet to confirm all know when, where, etc.Mars_Man said:I always confirm. I usually book far in advance and tend to confirm day before and/or day of.
It's no biggie to me.
Cuts down on mistakes and misunderstandings (USUALLY).
