Obviously you don't run a business do you? If a customer becomes a headache or too much work for what you get, that is exactly what you do.
It seems like you don't. You don't tell a customers in public to get lost, even problem ones. What message does that send to potential customers. And the advertiser in question has not been a problem. In fact, she goes out of her way to avoid public drama. If anything, Fred should be kissing her ass to stay, considering how long she's been and advertiser and how much business she's brought to PERB.

Not here to argue with you, you're entitled to your opinion.

it SUCKS! I won't be coming or advertising here as much now because of it.

The banners aren't noticeable anymore. And when you post an ad, you can't read the entire sentence, never mind finding the sections. What's with the huge waste of space in the middle? It hurts to look as this mess.

Wake me up when its over.

I just find the new format extremely hard to read - everything's white, with little colour, contrast - and the fonts are tough to visually process as a result.

Sorry Fred et al, two thumbs down.

I don't like it at all. Obviously everyone was used to the old way and asides from being off-line for upgrades from time to time it seemed to work very well as a forum. This one, I don't like and it is one of the most poorly laid out forums I frequent.

I thought It sucked from first sight.... but then I thought, hmm it may have some more functionality and it may take getting use to.

WRONG, the search function absolutely blows. The forum setup is MUCH worse then before.

This is not too bad, but like all new things, it will take some time to get used to.

very hard to read, user names and pics are way too small. More confusing than it was before, banner on the top is covered with welcome-log in--etc.
only one advertised lady/banner to be seen......
In your browser window you can easily adjust text size to what you are comfortable with, or you can just press CTRL+

Guys, it's pointless to ask anyone who upgrades a board to put it back. It never happens. Technical issues and support or security issues often drive these things, and the originators of the upgrades put in lots of time, work, and money in various mixtures to effect the change. They also tend to treat them and feel about them like they're their babies. It's not going to go back to the old format. We can whine and pine all that we want to. The old days are gone, so we're going to have to deal.

What we can do is continue vent our dissatisfaction with the current format/content/layout etc so that the powers that be can make constructive changes to the new format that will help everyone, improve features, and restore the functionality we want. Instead of whining think about taking part in the design of the new PERB, tell 'em what you want, and keep bitching until we get, or at least the best possible facsimile. In time the format will look normal, and maybe we can improve it to the betterment of everybody. It just seems more productive, even though I don't currently like the new format any more than the rest of you do. From past experience I realize the futility of fighting to go backwards in time.

Also, while I agree that the site owners can do whatever they want I also agree that it's in bad taste to tell a good customer publicly that you don't need their business and they can get lost if they choose. It's just bad PR, and seems unnecessary, but hey, when it's your world I guess you can choose to do whatever you will with it. I'm just sayin'
