I love Westjet

ThisEndUp I have to agree with you :thumb: I fly ALLOT and I have flown with Westjet from day one... I have never had a bad experience that's not to say that I have not encountered a person having an off day ...

I am ALL about customer service and satisfaction and that is two things I have not experienced with AC the few times I have flown with them... My last experience was horrible to the point that I am thinking of writing a letter to Transport Canada only because there is ZERO customer service with Air Canada..you actually cant speak to a real person in the complaint department ....

You can tell the difference when someone wants to be there and those that are just showing up...

I used to prefer WJ over AC but for a few years now, I have been choosing AC over WJ every time unless there was no choice in terms of schedules.
In the post 9/11 air travels, there are numerous "safety" regulations that WJ attendants seem to enjoy enforcing rigorously.
An example is do not stand in line for the washroom (sometimes you just want to stand up and stretch your legs). Another example is, if you have a jacket, you either wear it or put in the overhead cabin, you are not allowed to hold it in your arms. I put it down to the relatively younger crew who just relish their new found authority over the masses, in the name of air travel regulations.
Where else do you have a twenty something year old ordering an older and perhaps a senior executive around? Because of this, I find the jokes they tell a bit hollow. I know not everyone is like that but you only need one in each flight to ruin things for you.
On the other hand, i do find AC attendants more mellow. In addition, I do like the free movies in AC and find WJ's TV channels real boring.
