The worst of surgery isn't the surgey itself but the ridiculous wait times to get a surgey. In Alberta it's 8 - 12 weeks for an elective procedure. I hope to get my surgery finally in April. It's so aggravating to have to wait for so long when your condition is reasonably serious and effecting your quality of life.
If I knew how bad the wait times are in Alberta, I would have been fighting a lot harder for us to build more hospitals in Alberta
