I did the no Scalpel procedure and it was a piece of cake. I played video games for the rest of the afternoon and went to work the next day. Didn't need ice or anything. The fun part was you had to have 25 ejaculations before going back with the sperm sample (standing in the elevator with a big crowd holding a clear cup full of jizz was extremely uncomfortable...for the crowd...lol) to get the all clear from the doc. I had a new girlfriend as was back in about a week. The Doc comes in and says you know you have to have 25 ejaculations before you come back to test right? I just said "new girlfriend" He just grinned and went off to test. All clear.

The 25 ejaculations was definitely my favourite part of the process.

Almost painless procedure for me. Done in the morning and back climbing up scaffold in the afternoon.

After a couple weeks I noticed that when the doc was stitching up my sack he made a mistake and put a stitch into one of my tubes. My one ball hung high for a couple weeks and was uncomfortable. Doc said wait a few more weeks and see what happens, if doesn't come loose might have to go in and correct. After a couple weeks I was climbing up a ladder and felt it come loose. Not a great feeling but I knew what it was and was glad it corrected itself as the stitches were dissolving.

All in all not a bad experience and would do again if I had to. Only downside is I found every 5 years I would have a backup and have swollen tube/s for a few days that would be uncomfortable. Equivalent to blue balls I guess. Lots of juice with nowhere to go. Go away and be all good after a week.

I will also give a nod to Dr Pollock and his office. Easy set and consultation and procedure. A little discomfort after the rpocedure but nothing too bad. Followed the Dr’s instructions after and was good to go in about 4-5 days.

Best decision i ever made. No pain just a little discomfort. Good excuse to sit on the couch and watch movies.

On occasion I chafe where the incision was made
It can be slightly uncomfortable but clears in about 36 hours if you limit activity/ actions that would cause chaffing

Is it worth spending the $$$$ to get the Pollock clinic no scalpel version vs. the free scalpel version?

I knew a guy, had three daughters then got a vasectomy. Him and his wife decided it would be nice to try for a son. He had it reversed and his wife got pregnant. Ended up having twin girls.

From my personal experience I would say not. I had a vasectomy over 20 years ago. They gave me some really nice meds in case I had any pain. I didn’t. The meds became purely recreational.

Had it done back in the 80s. No problem. Told the bag of peas thing too. But i asked when can i have sex? Doc said noon. So noon it was after leaving hospital at 10. One of the most intense orgasms i ever had. Still remember it after all these yrs. I'd go and get 1 every month. If it was possible
