Almost painless procedure for me. Done in the morning and back climbing up scaffold in the afternoon.
After a couple weeks I noticed that when the doc was stitching up my sack he made a mistake and put a stitch into one of my tubes. My one ball hung high for a couple weeks and was uncomfortable. Doc said wait a few more weeks and see what happens, if doesn't come loose might have to go in and correct. After a couple weeks I was climbing up a ladder and felt it come loose. Not a great feeling but I knew what it was and was glad it corrected itself as the stitches were dissolving.
All in all not a bad experience and would do again if I had to. Only downside is I found every 5 years I would have a backup and have swollen tube/s for a few days that would be uncomfortable. Equivalent to blue balls I guess. Lots of juice with nowhere to go. Go away and be all good after a week.
