My point is, everything Democrats accused Trump of, they did themselves. And most of you seem to think that’s okay.
For four years Democrats and their willing press accomplices demonized everything about Trump from the minute he was elected. “NOT MY PRESIDENT”, was screamed from the rooftops. There was a women’s march against him the day after the inauguration.
How many celebrities vowed to move to Canada (but didn’t)? How many Democrat representatives urged followers to harass anyone in the administration? How many took the advice and stole hats, assaulted or harassed people in public for wearing a hat? Or dredged up things from the past that got people fired? (Unless you are on the “chosen” side. Then, all is forgiven.) Which kids were demonized in a false accusation of racism, simply for wearing hats? How many of you jumped on that false bandwagon before the truth came out?
Which party spent four years scrutinizing every word, every statement and every action of Trump, then searched for any reason to launch frivolous impeachments? But questioning Biden’s obviously declining cognitive abilities offends you?
Which party encouraged demonstrations and even riots because they knew it was done by their supporters, but would be condemned as “Nazi Actions” if done by any right wing groups?
Which president was parodied mercilessly, and endlessly on every late night talk show? Now, there’s gentle teasing. Which president was shown with his head severed, which president had a play in New York done showing him being killed, how many celebrities insulted, swore at and spewed hate at the president, and were applauded for it?
Which representative of the “other” party ripped up the State of the Union address? Real classy.
Which party’s senators were gunned down during a ball game?
Which party had 90% of press coverage against them?
But now, the same people that did all that for four years, are asking for “unity”? And you guys think Trump was the dangerous one?
Just because those things were done by people you like, against people you don’t like, didn’t make it any more right, or less divisive.
