He does have plans... He tried to get a wall built, but that is a pipe dream. He at least was against massive illegal immigration that is currently killing the country. As for the National debt, only $8 trillion was added by him compared to his predecessor Obama with $9.5 trillion. Biggest debt spikes happened for Trump due to Coronavirus relief... National debt increases are also usually due to mandatory payments due to previous administrations and it's not a good and easy way to measure a president's success.

As for changing position and views. That is perfectly fine. However, changing views and positions on political topics without explaining why after previously having strong positions for the opposite is not acceptable. Kamala should explain why she has switched positions. We obviously know it's to get the most possible votes to become president as some of her positions will hinder her ability to become president. Which is why I would never vote for her if I was American since she is trying to sell people what they want to hear for power.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Trump fan. I would prefer a better candidate. In the current climate, 100% Trump over Harris. She wasn't even selected to be Presidential nominee, she was just on the ticket with Biden. No one voted it for her and they just did a switch a roo. The Democratic party are a bunch of idiots. How are the best 2 options Biden who was clearly already showing in the world stage that he was mentally declining and not fit to be president and then his running mate that is pretty unpopular and most don't like.

Harris has such beautiful stories when asked important questions. Its like she grew up in Mayberry USA with the Beaver next door and the police was Barney Fife. My parents were such humble, middle class people who baked pies for everyone and got up at 5am for work and did community service on weekends. Thats pretty much half her answer to hard questions.

And for F sakes how I do get in on the free health insurance each and every illegals get? Its a problem unless you sneak into USA and can have hundreds of thousands wiped off if you suffer a medical emergency upon USA soil. But I can't? WTF I have been paying taxes for decades. Have they?

I have listened to Trump speaking and he constantly talks with a racist bent. He is skilled at talking around the subjects but I can decipher what he is saying. With regards to Republicans and the right wing, I base my views primarily on personal experience. Violence and larceny by self-identified 'conservatives' has always figured in my life. I am not left wing and am considered right of center by most people in my life. However I have had truly horrible personal experiences with other right wingers as I find that many don't walk the talk. I try to keep an even opinion on matters on this board but I get tired of people who are so willing to tolerate Trump and MAGA. Those who support Trump and MAGA, don't disassociate or claim that you are not one of them. Yes, you are. I am not specifically talking about you but there are many posters here who are good at words, at deflecting, etc. I sometimes wonder if they have a soul. I fear not.

As an aside to this regarding Canadian politics although not as extreme as in the US, I truly feel I am a political orphan as being a red tory (right of center), no party carries my principals or views as I see how it all should work. It is hard to find common ground.
