Nope, not going to buy it. The Dems have been F ing with the border for 3 years. Yeah, I am going to trust them with 13 billions dollars. To fix a problem they don't really want to go away. How much of it is going to go towards a " root cause study" or " climate change study". They know the problems, it’s been ignored and given the finger for years. 13 billions? LMAO.
Did you buy, "I'm going to build a great, big, beautiful wall and Mexico is going to pay for it'?

I never expected that lots of Americans think that way. Are they really that gullible? Can't they see what this man is doing to their country. They are no different to third world autocratic countries anymore. Really sad.
The level of critical thinking in the US in particular has been declining since the early 80's. Blame Reagan for cutting education and every government since for keeping those cuts in place. Keep them stupid and you can control them more easily.
Cognitive Dissonance. Powerful way to control the masses.

At the end of the day the US wants cheap labour but dislike the consequences that come with it AND the US government with their agencies never really wanted to improve the standards of living of the Central and South Americans otherwise they would have stayed clear of meddling or overthrowing of duly elected governments for political or business reasons and restrained US corporations from making the same mistakes.

Very true. American are lazy and feel entitled. I see that every single day. It's the fault of the people in the first place why there are so many illegals there. And when they don't like the consequences of their actions, they blame their government.

So, if Trump wins the election this year, will anything change for ordinary Americans? Possibly one war will end and likely a new war will be initiated. After all, what to do with all those powerful and shiny weapons in storage. Not to mention all those high paying jobs that depend on that industry.

I am beginning to think that war is a multi billion $ industry. Perhaps that's why usd is higher now compare to trump's time when there was no war. Just my thinking 🤔 Now NKorea is selling its weapons to Russia. If this isn't an industry I don't know what is.

"Dems and Liberals have nothing but Jan. 6th which no one in my middle class neighborhoods gives a shit about. We just care about the money in our wallets and we had more purchasing power when Trump was in charge and better job prospects."

While many people are very concerned about their purchasing power the irony is that the connection between it and current macroeconomic policies is often tenuous. It is also quite possible that macroeconomic policies from a previous administration have more effect because it takes time for fiscal and monetary policies to take effect. Business cycles can and do change regardless of politics.

While people are always tired and would want to forget the past and move on, its is a rule of thumb that one needs to look back at the events in their lives and deal with the mistakes head on, to truly able to move forward stronger. People should do their due diligence Trump inherited a thriving economy but fck everything up in the succeeding years of his term specially his response to covid that crushed the US economy to its lowest level since the Great Depression. Not to mention the deaths of million of Americans. While the progressive policy of JB isn't something that I fully agree, JB was able to turn their economy around as the best among the G7 countries. Stocks are up, Jobs are up, gas are down, consumer confidence skyrocketed, etc. One only needs to look behind and understand that another Trump term will definitely spell disaster to America. Liz Chaney explains it quite clearly. You can survive policy differences but you can't survive the very person who wants to tear down the Constitution. While America is the City Upon the Hill and the beacon of freedom, equal opportunity, and democracy, It will become a nation where democracy started but tumbles and fails at the end. This will resonate all over the world. The one country that will first be affected is Canada.

The majority of the points here are spot on.
Similarly 45 inherited a booming economy from Obama, who inherited a failing one from DubYa.
I do disagree though on the beacon of freedom comment though. Used to be certainly, not anymore.

Don't forget this one:

The list of people that were on those flights over to Epstein Island are now being made public. Everyone on there that are still alive should have the FBI knocking on their door asking questions, including Trump. I heard it was over 1700 people on the list. I guess we’ll have to wait for it to play out.

I have never heard of one person say Jan. 6th hurts me personally do you?

But leaving the grocery store do you say WTF I can't miss hours at work cause the bill is how much now? Yeah, that's everyone problem now. Not a bunch of idiots who look like the village people on Capital Hill for one day.

Don't forget all the democrats who were on TV during the " summer of Love" telling people to protest, burn and loot police stations for weeks in Seattle and NONE of them faced them music. What happened there? All over America rioting were allowed if a Democrat told you to do so.

You libs make it sound like Jan. 6th was the haunting and defining moment in your life.

The original number of jobs reported by the federal government in 2023 was revised down by a total of 749,000 jobs, meaning nearly one-fourth of jobs thought to be created in the year were not actually there, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

There were 52,000 government jobs added in December, bringing the total number of government employees to an all-time high of 23 MILLION
