Okay, a continuation of what was said before:

Trump did try to overthrow the US government so he could cling to power after he lost the 2020 election. Called on his supporters to do an insurrection - and that is definitely on him (command responsibility for the movement that follows him).
So all that stuff where they charge him for it, or void his candidacy because of the 14th Amendment, that's all legitimate. He did what he did, and should eat the consequences.

However, will he?

I doubt it. The cases will take years, and even going at a good pace, there will be endless appeals. The US Supreme Court, which is extremely partisan, and leans heaviliy Republican.
Since none of his GOP competitors have been able to exceed his popularity, Trump will be most likely be the candidate fights the 2024 election on behalf of the GOP. The law might not be on his side, but the courts ultimately are.

I really think Haley, DeSantis, and most others are actually running to be his VP candidate, in case he suddenly gets taken out by special circumstances (legal, medical, whatever).

Dems and Liberals have nothing but Jan. 6th which no one in my middle class neighborhoods gives a shit about. We just care about the money in our wallets and we had more purchasing power when Trump was in charge and better job prospects. I have never heard of one person say Jan. 6th hurts me personally do you?

But leaving the grocery store do you say WTF I can't miss hours at work cause the bill is how much now? Yeah, that's everyone problem now. Not a bunch of idiots who look like the village people on Capital Hill for one day.

Don't forget all the democrats who were on TV during the " summer of Love" telling people to protest, burn and loot police stations for weeks in Seattle and NONE of them faced them music. What happened there? All over America rioting were allowed if a Democrat told you to do so.

You libs make it sound like Jan. 6th was the haunting and defining moment in your life.

you actually think the religious lunatics who are taking over the GOP will make a difference on your bottom line, all they care about is tax cuts for themselves and gravy kickbacks from the govt pig trough and raming their Christian agenda into law. Biden has done a good job steadying the economy, the rise in prices came from curtailing inflation with raising interest rates. It’s a global shit show and the big corporations have had massive profits at the expense the little people. The biggest job growth in decades has come from the Dems, going the other way will be heading back to the Dark Ages with an insane Hitler wannabe at the helm, it’s a shit show. Neither of them should be president, it’s terrible those two are all the US can come up with for leadership, but there is no way the alternate reality crowd has any business in power, they will stop at nothing to gain control, it’s horribil. I really wonder why Americans keep complaining about high gas prices, cost of living, inflation, bla bla bla. Hello People??!? Its global. It's happening all over the world. In Europe, in Asia. It's even happening in the second largest economy in the world like china! We Canadian even cross the border to do grocery and getting gas. It's still cheaper over there. They should be thankful not to mention the strength of the USD that's pulling most of its prices down like gas. For every $ that Americans spend on gas, we need to spend $1.30. American should also remember that it was during Trump time that USA suffered the worst economy since the great depression in the 30"s. They had the worse response on covid that killed millions of people. I am not much of a fan of Biden but he was able to turn the situation around. Trump is now using the southern border issue that the Rep refused to solve when they were in power. Even up to now, they refuse to pass bills that the dem put forward. Why? well they won't have anything to campaign on anymore if they do. Its good to point out the problem but its another thing to point to the problem and do nothing bcoz it useful to them. Its so fking stupid!!

Trump keeps saying that if Biden wins the economy will collapse. Well, it didn't. In facts it was the opposite. Its currently doing better then all the G7 countries. Wake up my American brothers! If trump is back in power, "you won't have a country anymore" So vote like hell!!

Trump appeals to a specific audience that wants someone to blame for everything wrong in their lives.
That demographic refuses to look at the world around them.
They refuse to look at complicated bar charts or any kind of statistics.
Simple solutions don’t work in very complex problems.

I never expected that lots of Americans think that way. Are they really that gullible? Can't they see what this man is doing to their country. They are no different to third world autocratic countries anymore. Really sad.

Kamela and Biden won't even acknowledge the problem at the southern border. Nothing to see here. The Jan. 6 guided tour is more important. It was such an insurrection that the guards opened the door to let them in and shots were fired to ignite the crowd to panic. Well that looks like a setup to me doesn't it to you?

I can deal with the personality issues of Trump just fine. Biden and his puppet master Obama and Soros hate America to its core and want it burned down.

Couldn't agree more with both of your posts in this thread. I'll tell you once thing..... My personal stock portfolio rocketed up as a whole under the previous admin. I'm praying we get a change in leadership. However, I would prefer they have a younger leader running the oval office. Too much of a shit show the past decade and It's time to get things back in order down there. I hope. I can't the Biden regime! (n)My opinion of course.

Biden is requesting money to hire more border agents and the GOP are blocking him. How is it Biden’s fault? Looks like the GOP are trying to make the problem worse for political gain. View attachment 83434

Nope, not going to buy it. The Dems have been F ing with the border for 3 years. Yeah, I am going to trust them with 13 billions dollars. To fix a problem they don't really want to go away. How much of it is going to go towards a " root cause study" or " climate change study". They know the problems, it’s been ignored and given the finger for years. 13 billions? LMAO.

The border issue and immigration from the Americas has been a problem for decades which could have been solved decades ago .

Neither democrats or republicans have a leg to stand on looking from the outside. They keep pointing the fingers , passing the ball, avoiding the issue , making big announcements, tripping each other at the Congress or Senate level. Rhetoric has been the name of the game for 40 something years and all presidents of that period are to blame as many of them had a majority in both chambers without solving the issue or even improving the sad state of affair.

At the end of the day the US wants cheap labour but dislike the consequences that come with it AND the US government with their agencies never really wanted to improve the standards of living of the Central and South Americans otherwise they would have stayed clear of meddling or overthrowing of duly elected governments for political or business reasons and restrained US corporations from making the same mistakes.

Trump triggered almost a third of the American population on a deeply emotional level (backed-up by feckless politicians only concerned w/their seat) amplified by social media/FOX/OAN/etc. into believing their lives (and all the problems/greivances) are due to the 'other'. Orange Jesus sold them a bill of goods and they bought it, hook/line/sinker. They'd follow him off a cliff, send him all their money, SWAT anyone he targets...they're being 'played' and are unable to see any way out.

The rest of us have already gone through the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance)
