Just when you think that country's politics could not find a new rock bottom, they somehow just keep digging:

Kanye West announces 2024 presidential bid

:ROFLMAO:
Saw that headline in the news last night, did a double take, then chuckled ... a LOT.
What is his handle YeHaw or something?
Wrote that fucker off the moment he grabbed Taylor Swift's mike on whatever awards thing that was.

Yeah, 2016 set the precedent that literally anyone can be president; entry-level job, no experience required (just a monster-sized ego).
Yah! Very true unfortunately, and to think it's going on over there is just sad. Anything happening over their end affects almost everywhere across the world.

Trump did not run as a independent in 2016. He got the Republican nod. Candidates that run independent don't win. You need a dem or Republican backing to win the top dog spot.

Swift was 19 years old when Kanye so rudely interrupted her acceptance speech. I would have to say I have held a very low opinion of him since then (first impression too), so it kinda stuck that he was a first class jerk.

The oompa loompa in chief has threated to run as an indie if Desantis gets the nomination.

As for the big ol Y, hes made some good music, but he's got some mental health issues that are no doubt exacorbated by the fame. He needs to get some help. ( although telling Trump he could be his Vp is a bit of an awsome move from a racial equality perspective )

I am almost certain that he will be indicted. How could he not? Otherwise it will be an insult to the rule of law and USA will be an embarrassment forever. I also think the spineless Republicans are silently hoping and praying that he gets indicted so he will be out of their lives.

We're effed down here

What Orange did was organize and mobilize a sleeper-cell (to the tune of 20%-30%) of racists/conspiracy theorists/bigots/etc. and gave them a voice/permission. It's no mystery that it's 'open-season' on anyone that isn't white.

If/when he gets indicted/convicted, there will be chaos and the next wanna be that can focus/aim/fire that mob will be nominated...the next few election cycles will continue to be a sh!t-show for all the world to see.

Yah! it will be so embarrassing to the world if they don't indict the Orange guy. I maybe wrong, but I don't think they will be chaos if indeed he gets indicted and convicted. That seem to be what Orange wants to imply but with most of those foot soldiers involved in the 1/6 were either indicted or convicted. I don't believed anybody in their right mind will even try to do a repeat of what happen, and risk being arrested and jailed. Specially now, when the midterm proves that he no longer has the support of the people.

Excellent that Warnock won in Georgia, so the Democrats have 51 Senators.
But depressing that 49% voted for the candidate of the psychopathic criminal.

Hatred is the only reason anyone could vote for him.
Same goes for Greene, Brobert and a few others.
Watching them speak for a few minutes, there is no way they are fit to run a country.

Wow, I can't believe it. A former POTUS lowering himself to this degree. But of course Trump can do it. If it was anybody else, I'd feel sorry for them.

'Major Announcement': Donald Trump Touts Digital Trading Card Collection (breitbart.com)

What a waste, I'd rather go to Main & Hasting and give somebody the 99. At least the money stays in Canada. :)
That psychopath has truly lost it. I would not be surprised if his next major announcement is that he is giving blowjobs for $99 at the 19th hole at Maralago.

When I saw that trading card, I damn near shot my coffee through my nose all over my keyboard. Then I thought, wow, a good part of the You Es of Eh will buy those pathetic pieces of pity.
Sad state of affairs, but hey, that is what has become of our southern neighbour in 2022.

Obama administration’s Victoria Nuland spent $5 billion to oust legitimately elected Poroshenko for dictator Zelensky that shelled separatists in the Donbas before Putin’s incursion. Trump administration recognized Jerusalem as capital of Israel green lighting slaughter of genuinely Semite Palestinians. Forget towing a party line and fight instead for worthy issues. Federal governments, one after the other, sold out manufacturing industry and sells off the land & environment to keep value of dollar up. Meanwhile, those who got rich in countries employing marginalized labour & poor environmental standards bid up the price of real estate sending your neighbours to either commute valuable hours each weekday all week, or sleep in tents on sidewalks downtown. And an international banking cartel claiming to own your central bank.

Up to now I can't seem to wrap my head around the thought that there are people that voted for them. What are these people thinking? Or are they even thinking at all?
