I am also glad to hear these scumbags are facing charges. Interesting they are calling Locanto an online dating platform and not alluding to sex work at all.

I did not.
reason being. They did not get my wallet or know who I am.
had I laid charges, they would know who I am through disclosure.
Had they discovered my identity, I most likely would have.
I thought about it for a long while.
but I did post in here to warn about them. And hopefully that saved some people from going.

The definition of "dating sites" is not mis-used, these sites are used for lining up dates with a sure thing, rather than a crap shoot.

Now, when you add in the robbery factor, they should have indicated they were "pay for play" dating websites, or some other clarification. The representation that these incidents happened over conventional dating sites will both create issue/panic among users of those sites, and encourage criminals to expand to those sites.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess. Regardless, we all need to be cautious, work with known providers, and share any intel on potential bad elements.

How does a lady become a known provider when they enter the business? They can work for a known agency / spa, and then go independent. Or they can post ads that have zero red flags, provide excellent service and encourage clients to give reviews of the experience.
