I too am quite surprised with the drastic change in rates, and whats out there. I pursued this *career* while in college, and once done left, and on occasion have posted the odd add seeing what kinds of responses were generated, and these days, there are just no offers out there, that are even worth entertaining!
For regulars etc, making deals is nor problem, you are in that comfort zone then, and things are less. awkward. But when every guy is expecting the world for $100.. I can make that in a 4 hour shift, as a cocktail waitress, and not deal with the stresses, worry, and safety risk.. There comes a point where ya wonder when its time to call it quits..
