I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this — if there’s a better forum or channel, please let me know — but I want to get the word out quickly to prevent anyone from being scammed.

My Tryst account has been hacked, and please DO NOT contact whoever this might be

The issue has already been reported, and I’m working with Tryst to regain access.

PERB doesn't reach everyone, lots of people, tourists especially, don't even know about review boards. It's a good place to start, and happy to assist Jess in getting the word out.

I know gentlemen and Moderators here are very trustworthy and supportive when it comes to things like this.

I was referring to whether this is the right channel out of respect to Perb:

1. I was wondering if there might be a dedicated channel for this kind of scam so the word could spread faster and more efficiently
2. I definitely have posted in the wrong section before 😅

mmm member number 240950, no. there are about a dozen scraper emails a day with enticing little messages about "i wanna pay upfront, come on down, click here" and im gonna bet on the law of averages that human error was involved.

Trysts security is more like Fort Knox. I have 2 factor to get into my tryst account.

But I also get one of these a couple of times a day

I have no idea on their end. But I know we get hundreds of phishing and while most of it looks fake as fuck, once in a blue moon, it looks totally legit. A good rule of thumb that I follow is never click on links. If somebody sent a message on perb or tryst or anywhere, it will be there once you log in. So just go directly to the source.
