I want Trump to have a chance to employ his ideas, just the way Obama did (hopefully with less drone murders), but this group of misguided rioters/protesters wants marshall law because they didn't win.

Is this the result of a media that slants left without most of us noticing, plus handing out participation trophies throughout all these kids lives, so that they never face adversity and thus, cry when they don't get their way?

I'd be embarrassed if I still considered myself a liberal.
Yes, I share your optimism that Trump will lead the United States of America to a brave new century, a nation free of :

He also has really talented people to help him out, like Mnuchin, Devos, Pruitt and Carson. All of them bring a fresh look to their respective portfolios since they have virtually no government experience, or relevant education or training. Steve Bannon, a fine patriot, will also lend his fine expertise and unique insight. Good 'ol boy Jeff Sessions will revitalize the Justice department. John McCain approves of Donald Trump!

Even polls agree, the Donald is at the top of the table of approval ratings!

I have never watched Fox Network since I considered them the propaganda arm for the Repugnants. I detest Hannity and O'Reilly since they have always been disrespectful of the office and down right rude to Obama. The exception being Chris Wallace who has hosted various debates and Town Hall meetings. He has always been a fair moderator and does ask the tough questions for both parties.

Props to Chris Wallace for emphasizing the 1st Ammendment rights are enshrined and 45 can call out "enemy of Americans" all he wants and Wallace will support the Free Press by supporting all th major cable networks.

Trump accuses the media of making false news, then his flunkies go off about the Bowling Green Massacre and non existent events in Sweden.

He is preparing for the day he gets caught doing something really bad. He will deny deny deny, and accuse the media of persecuting him.

Look at his response to his latest staff fuckup. Instead of blaming his assistant for lying, he blames the media for reporting it.

He really does not know right from wrong, or care. Total sociopath. Sad. Very sad.

His response to Bill O'Reilly shows his true motivations.

He was called out on a blatant lie. He could not deny it, he had no evidence to back up his lie.
His response was "Many people believe it".
So he admits that he is saying what his pollsters show him people want to hear.
He does not admit lying or being mistaken.

He is trying to disqualify the knowledgable and educated experts in many fields by ridiculing them as " liberal elites " .
His supporters buy right into his attacks, a sad debate where his supporters strategy is name calling and insults.

He discredits the "fake news" and "so-called" experts. Those people are not telling the great unwashed what they want to hear, so they side with him. Now the coal miners see the EPA as oppressors. So they are happy to give coal companies freedom to do whatever they want. The unemployed think that business will all come back to the USA once onerous regulations are lifted off the backs of long suffering billionaires. They don't see that those regulations protect them, workplace health and safety, discrimination, stealing pensions, those regulations are there for a reason. The lower class cannot afford decent health care but Trump convinced them they don't want it. Great, now those coal miners will get lung cancer and die instead of getting treated.

Trump is a genius. He knows what his supporters want to hear. Whether it is true or not, he tells them what they want.

Trump has convinced his blue collar supporters to be a party to their own ruin.

It's the backlash from "fly over" country. Trump read the mood correctly and rode it too an Electoral College victory. What the media is not getting is that they are playing right into his hands. The longer they natter away about him, the more the people that voted for Trump will support his mid term campaign. And have no doubt, he has a mid term campaign to increase his hold on the House and Senate. Unlike Obama who lost the mid terms.

So far he doesn't even bother with the House and Senate. He just does Executive Orders.

He's been getting his cabinet through the senate - except for one. He also has house bills that have already been sent to the senate. I think he's counting on the media continuing to be in a tizzy. He knows the media's opposition is the reason he won the Electoral College. (Popular Vote counts for nothing in the USA, it's the Electoral College that counts) And Yes, all lovers of Proportional Representation, when the result is divorced from the Popular Vote, people like Donald Trump win. Hillary Clinton has almost 3 million more votes that Donald Trump, but most are "wasted" votes in places that she couldn't lose.

So how do you talk to Trump fans?
They are motivated by emotion, not reason.
Why don't people see through his bullshit?
The guy keeps getting caught lying, Conway and Spicer make stuff up, but none of it sticks. wtf?

It's quite disturbing that all this turmoil may be some sinister psychological plot spun be Steve Bannon.

Make his supporters trust no one but him?

Alienate the mainstream news as fake?

All through his campaign, he would almost create a violent crowd with having people thrown out an roughed up.

The part I don't get is the Russia connection? Is this to be partners should anything else start happening in N Korea or worse China?

All we know is 45's fans have swallowed the koolaid and its crazy time.

Not bad for 'fake news'

Even people that seemed previously normal are unable to form coherent arguments on his behalf.
Any criticism is met with Benghazi Benghazi Killary! Clinton Crime Syndicate!
Unable to respond to the issue being debated. They go off on a tangent.
So weird. Sad. Really.

Persistent rumour has 45 up to his eyeballs in debt to Russkies.

After all he has had several bankruptcies.

Not the shrewd businessman he presents himself as. This may explain his refusal to divulge his personal finances.

Looks like Dostoefsky was prescient about The Donald:

:A man who lies to himself, and believes his own lies, becomes unable to recognize truth, either in himself or in anyone else, and he ends up losing respect for himself and for others. - Fyodor Dostoevsky, novelist (1821-1881)

Yes many people are putting that theory out.

Trump's pathetic excuses for not releasing any financials is a big red flag. None of them are believable. I really hope someone leaks everything.

It would be nice to see his whole house of cards collapse.
