When I met this beautiful Sasha fox few weeks ago, we talked about many things including the movie, Twilight. The theme of the movie was true love. The question is whether true love exist. There are so many books and movies about it, but is it possible in real life?
Yes.
True love for a man = the drug testosterone in his pants. LOL.
True love for a woman? Don't ask me, i'm not from Venus.
Probably a result of propaganda since childhood via the media.
For some reason they crave those sweet nothings/lies. Maybe
something to do with her being decieved in the garden of Eden.
I would liken the Hollywood romantic fantasy of true love to the
pooner fantasy of GFE.
Of course the former is politicly correct, dating back before
Romeo and Juliet. Pooning, though just as ancient, is not, as
it is seen to oppose the family (or GF/BF) unit and morality.
Certainly there are exceptions where amongst the liberated,
such as in Thailand, it is more acceptable for a person in a
relationship to have mia noi, giks, see ladies of the night,
and male prostitutes.

But i digress. Back to "true love", whatever that is supposed to mean.
Please define it, if possible. Is it eternal? Is it divine? Is it only between
a man and a woman in a relationship involving sex? Does it involve the
way a mother feels about her child? Do animals feel the same about
their siblings? etc
WARNING! Twilight spoiler below. Do not read any further if you
haven't seen this movie yet.
The "true love" in the movie Twilight is between a several hundred
year old vampire and a high school girl. She seems attracted to him
at first sight because he is hot, while he longs for her and her blood
because {in his own words} it's like "a drug" he can barely control;
at several points in the film he cums within a moment of sucking
her dry. He is also especially attracted to her/her blood because
she is the only human being that he can't mind read. That makes
him curious and her special. He is her white knight who saves her
from a deadly accident, rapists, and kidnappers. He is her superman
who flies her to the tops of trees where there are breathtaking views.
At times he is incredibly rude. At others caring, sensitive and a true
gentleman, putting himself at risk for her safety.
Is this true love, a hollywood fiction/fantasy, both?
