Transporting RV trailers

Has any one here ever worked a s a lease driver Transporting 5th wheel , and hitch trailers from manufacturer to customer or sales lot all over the US and Canada

It is some thong that interests me .. and want some incite from some on that has don it or is doing it

I have found a number of companies on line that are in the US and I am sure there is one or two in Canada

They give all the info on what I would need to be considered .. Most I can get like a large F350 or F450 or the equivalent in a dodge or GMC.. But what i don't have is any experience with towing large trailers .. Biggest I have done is 8 ft lol .I know the basics of how the back up...

I am in the position of having to buy another truck and if I can use it to make a income then i will get a F450.. to tow trailers ..

But be for I commit to any thing that involved I need good first hand info. and maybe even hands on as a re leaf driver with some one I will even go and get some training trailer towing . May have to buy my own trailer and learn that way .. I just may become a traveling man..

I am looking at it because I love to drive my truck , see new things,and places ,, and I definitely got this big to get off the island .. I all will come back because it is home .. but I can;t say my heart is here any more ..

I looked through a few transporter wed site Of the companies i saw "Horizon" looked the best .. they all required that the driver owned the truck and had liability a given .. The company usually insured the trailer with al of them the driver payed for all expenses also .. The rates were better to transport trailers to But that is all I legally can do. The rates are $1.20 to $1.50 a mile ...

so just taking the 1000K that i can travel in 12 hrs ... which only 600 miles I would get about $720 to $950 for 12 ours .... But i am not sure if you are allowed to drive 12 hrs Of course i toke 1/2 hr breaks every 4 or so... Of course that has just been with a loaded pick up. When a had a small trail it was .. late in the day and i only did 6 hrs ..
It just some thing i have to do ti learn and i am sure I would have no problem on high ways . iT is the city traffic and turning down city streets that you need some skill .
Yes 5th wheels i would think are easier to back up then a hitch trailer .. I no the principal just practice ,practice , practice
