I'm a pretty good tipper at restaurants when I get good service. But I don't see the link to tipping with an SP because you agree to the service and price ahead of time. I think the reward for making a client is happy is repeat business, which I imagine SP's prefer over unknown customers.

The best tip is being kind , clean and respectful to them during your appointment and to write them a great review to get them some business.
We should go for a (or more than one) round of beers.

You could make a case that a lady should be providing gifts to her regulars. By gifts I mean symbolic items not things of high monetary value. If a client spends say $8K over the course of a year on a lady, I think it would be nice for her to recognize that in some fashion. I see this not as an obligation, but just a way to say thank you and recognize that he has provided a significant source of her income. The provision of small gifts can be reciprocal as well but in many industries it is the person earning the fee that recognizes the person who is paying it.

I normally tip $20, which I think is about right for the amount I am already paying, and is reflective of what I can afford on my income.

I don't see anyone enough to be a regular, so I always tip in advance. I am tipping for your best service this session, not the next one.

I usually tip with BCRIC Shares. They are affordable, and who doesn’t want a little nest egg? If the NDP win the election, we might get BCRIC 2.0! Woot woot!

I tend to see tips as transactional and gifts as relational. If you see a lady once and enjoy it you may provide a tip. If you a lady over the course of a year, you may find it more appropriate to provide a gift that may be more personal and reflects the spirit of gratitude . I see the latter as a potentially more reciprocal in nature. That is, a provider is unlikely to tip a customer or provide a gift on the initial visit, but if a customer is a long term client then I sense a lady may want to do something to reflect her gratitude for his business.

I frequently, tip. I usually, have a good time, so it seems appropriate. I love giving gifts, but I like them to mean something, so I pay attention and try to get something special. I am pretty crafty, so handmaking gifts, is something I enjoy (teddy bears are popular).
