Concerts 5 days after my 30th... I’m going because January is shit to plan for birthdays, and this is way cheaper than renting a go kart track for 2 hrs and then getting a table at Pierre’s after like last year, also nostalgia from when rap was still good
Fair say, I just turned 27 last month, and I already feel like an old head, I cant stand these soundcloud rappers, all they do is mumble.

The last concert I went to in van was Jeremiah coles'. Regardless, it should be a good concert because he hasn't been in Canada in like 13 years I believe. He'll most likely play all his classics, anyways I hope you enjoy the concert aswell as your bday.

Cheers,

Either way, You'll get your "Rocks Off" ! LOL

I've seen the Stones twice, and both Shows were very enjoyable !

But, at this point in my Life, I'd probably go for Option # 2 .

Still love their Tunes though !

And a Stones Show, will be a lot longer than an Hour !

They're not Clockwatchers either ! LOL

Cheers

Never seen that vid before, interesting to see Mick Taylor with the band before Ronnie, he had to leave couldnt handle the engrained mega drug scene, the poster pics even had a Beetlejuice character like Howard Stern. Id go see Keith Richards play his Epic Riffs everytime, amazing how long these guys are still doing their thing, its really who they are!

Stones in a small venue is only a dream and never again in a football stadium.

Jethro's suggestion of a $300 bottle of scotch like a McCallan 18 yr old is pretty appealing :D

The Stones are icons and probably the greatest rock band of all time but ages of 76,75,74 and 66,time to retire i think.

Closest they get is Century Link Stadium Seattle. What does it seat ? 70,000?

a good women is worth it all and more, she will give you memories to last the rest of your days.

like someone said a bunch of old men.
I saw a couple of old geezers past their prime, voice gone or not what it was, drunk, couldn't remember the words.

ah the smell of her pussy would be worth it.

I would say you should get married, then divorced and then think what does 300.00 dolllars means to you then?? Nobody gives a hoot what you do with your money.... spend it on what you want.

how would you spend it?
1) Go see the Rolling Stones for an hour
2) Spend the same hour with an incredibly hot girl.
Would you like to think about it for awhile?
I'd go to see my favourite masseuse, twice.

The stones should have packed it in after the 60's were over and I have no interest in over hyped and overpriced hooch!

right here and now
Seen the Stones Steel Wheels date in Van back around '89-'90 and wasn't overly impressed. Large venue NFW. Small intimate venue then maybe.
Better to have 10-15 DTES toothy BJs. They would grate less than Mick's over-amplified shrieking.
Better yet, serenity now with a bottle of Cab from To Kalon while it is still somewhat affordable.

Without a doubt, I would choose time with a beautiful woman, over the stones. In fact pretty sure that I know whom I'll see next.

Well, if I had the chance I would take Lady-Via to see the Stones. Get best of both worlds. Hope to meet them both some day or whichever comes first ;)

Absolutely no question.

Number 2. I didn't want to spend money on tickets to see the Stones any time after the 83 tour, why would I pay to see them NOW???

I would spend $300 on a lovely young woman, probably in Vancouver or Langley on my next trip over. I'd make a really good Stones playlist, we'd smoke a little bit of good weed, then spend an hour playing "slumber party"...Any SPs down for this that I haven't met yet wanna play?
