Meth cuts across all classes and segments.
It is the worst drug ever, anyone trying it is a fucking idiot.
Users are assholes and ruin their families, friends, everything they touch.
Give them all the meth they want and the problem will sort itself out.

Gee, how dare somebody drive around on Main street in Winnipeg with one headlight burnt out.
They should lock them up forever - never see the light of day again.

And, the cops found some bullets, gun, drugs and $200 cash in the car. I don't know how anybody can stand to live in such a crime riddled city like Winnipeg.

Mind you, here on the coast in Surrey - that's just normal 'cargo' in the cars there. The cops there will never pull you over for a broken headlight,
but they MAY pull you over for a bullet riddled windshield and shot out drivers window caused by a drive by shooting with poor aim.

Not actually seeing a crime here, other than the DUI. So they had drugs and some guns, who cares. Now if they use the guns in a way that isn't self-defense, now that's a crime.

Everybody has their own drugs, they are just named different things, coffee, chocolate, pizza, eating etc.

Most people start drugs- just for fun and kicks, an reaction to emotional stress, or accident (left with pain) and they become addicted to their drugs...

Doesn't matter how they started, they need help. Some addicts hit rock bottom losing friends, family etc. before they turn themselves around and some just end up dead on the street.

European countries are seeing drug addicts as they have a disease and some countries treat it as such.

Its so easy to say "sweep up the addicts and put them away" or "send to prison" or "let them die by overdosing". Have to admit it I think that way sometimes. But why? Its the quick and easy solution that won't in the long term solve any of the underlying issues people have with drugs or the issues why people take drugs.

We live in a toxic society. Emotional. Financial. Environmental. We are also living in the time of the quick fix solutions to all problems... They don't seem to work those solutions.....

Maybe it all started with the fairy tales of youth.... "and they lived happily ever after"..

But sometimes you just have to have a little "faith" in mankind.....

Meth addicts need long term treatment combined with psychiatric care. Because of the level of psychosis and aggression meth induces, it's one drug I think forced treatment should be considered for. In most cases I feel treatment should be reserved for those who genuinely WANT to quit. But meth fucks with the human mind so extremely that the majority of heavy users aren't of sound mind to make decisions.

A question that should be asked is who is responsible for that city being flooded by meth??

The drug trade is a very controlled business in Canada.

Duterte is a mass murdered and an unstable, insecure old man. Not sure he’s a man for anything except as a hero to dictators.
I have nothing against killing drug dealers and manufacturers.

If you ask that, you don't understand the situation.

There was a news article on an Ontario pharmacologist who was selling fentanyl out his backdoor of the pharmacy. He only got caught, cause someone else did a inventory, and informed to some board (Ontario College of Pharmacists??). The guy selling the fentanyl arranged by phone for a break in (at the pharmacy), to cover it up. the police did an investigation and busted the pharmacist.

Exactly the right approach.

The users I've known care more about their next hit than absolutely everything else.

This drug is super addictive and even tougher to quit.
