Thoughts on an appropriate jail sentence

A friend’s kid was in jail for two years less a day.
First thing they did when they got out was get high.

Jail does nothing unless you lock them up for life. They are vicious animals and a menace to everyone else. Warm milk and cookies do not work.

Absolutely agree. The original article was the arrest of a drug dealer, not necessarily a user. No sympathy for dealers at all.
I would take care of them Philippine style.
