Why do people post "This thread belongs in " Isn't the Mods job to say where a post should and shouldn't go. Sure a Greenhorn is going to put post in the wrong places I did when I was new, I'm sorry I hate Cops, this seems like a form of policing to me sorry but had to speak my mind, All the cops please have a doughnut or coffee and shut the F up:)

Whats wrong with helping the MODs out?

As long as you're polite in helping out newbies by instructing them what is the correct forum to post in, whats the big deal?

Let me speak my mind. You say you hate cops but i bet you would be the first to call one when Bubba wants to turn you into his boy bitch. ;) --- Kev

Sometimes here, Sometimes there
I think for the average member to point in the right direction for a newbie once in a while is fine.

If it comes down to just one or two members constantly pointing it out - whether they every post a real review or not - it's just, well, anally retentive ;)

It really is the Mod's job....

I hate it when newbies of all people, tell the veteran posters to put their topics in the right place. That's just wrong.

No it is not the Mod's job, his job first and foremost is to moderate this board. So if telling somebody to do things a certain way that is generally accepted is considered policing then so be it. It is in people's nature to hate to be told what to do, but somebody has to do it. BTW, you don't really hate cops, you just have a problem with preceived authority. Nothing a week or too in a military school or prison wouldn't fix.:D

I must agree completely. I find it more funny rather than annoying.

Unfortunately you run into people everywhere who have no authority but try to tell you what to do.

A helpful hint is OK if it is warranted but the tone of some of the posts has been hillarious.

I would compare it to security guards making minimum wage who have the attitude of chief of police.

Another funny thing is the "newbie" versus veteran poster.
I laugh at some of the clowns who have thousands of posts and seem to post 20 or more posts a day. TERB is much worse for this.
Theres many users who have less than a 100 posts but have provided so much more insight and valuable information than the guys with 1000s of posts who just spew crap all day.

Well you have only one post and haven't provided members with anything except your own spewed crap.:) It would appear your starting off on the wrong foot. Maybe your next post will be something of substance.;) --- Kev
