How the fuck is an AI system gonna determine the speed limit? Oh the highways just got slower.... Imagine taking 30 mins to pass the car in the slow lane. You need that extra speed to pass quickly.

As far as determining the speed limit the technology has been built into some models for the past few years. My car currently displays the speed limit of every road I am on in BC. Not sure about outside the province, but in BC my car knows the speed limit in kilometers no matter where I am. Pair that with AI Speed Controls and it is not a stretch.

Cars all have gps for directions, so it’s easy for the car to know what road you are on and the speed limit.

@westwoody .....Only newer cars have GPS. My old truck doesn't even have a computer in it. Google maps gets me anywhere I want to go.
