Sure...creating massive traffic jams and disrupting the lives of everyday Canadians trying to get to work or possibly hospitals across Canada is a great way to fight climate change.

But in actual fact it appears its more about getting publicity for the group promoting this and the eventual fundraising benefits as its obvious that the people staging this have no official jobs themselves and will probably be the same group of rag tag rent a protester that you find at every rally of this kind in Vancouver.

But the science itself is flawed. She doesn't weigh all the data and make a reasonable conclusion. Instead she only listens to the narrow minded people that say what she wants, and then she presents it in an alarmist, drama queen fashion.
We were all supposed to be underwater 20 years ago, and the human race wiped out, according to some so called scientists. I didn't believe the whackos then, and I still don't.
A more objective person weighs all sides, and then can calmly discuss a topic with more than just one sided information, and no need to do it in such an over the top style. As soon as someone is that radical, I just tune them out. If she wants to be taken seriously by more than a small amount of people, she needs to act more seriously. As it is now the average person is not taking her seriously at all. A few young people are, and some radical middle aged people maybe. But she needs to appeal to the masses, not 3% of the population if she wants to have a true influence.

I know my voting record and you do not. If right of centre means good economic policies, generally smaller government and the idea of helping people help them themselves, I’m there.
