i just asked in chat if park place was still a hotel. No answer....new beer....piss...no answer.

so, is park place a hotel in Toronto or not? Not that i care beyond the google i refuse to do.....but i remember walking the lobby in my sock feet and my father leaning down and saying....."you look as though you own the place". I don't understand my father.

I got stoned....pissed....well, i usually get pissed a time or two...i'll blame having a hoot for the following. Actually, I'll not blame a thing...I'll just say I had a hoot.

I live well. I don't mean that braggartly....I only mean...I live comfortably on what I have. Do I have more than the usual? Yes.

I wandered down to what I knew was there and always wanted to check out. So, emboldened by a couple of beer....o.k. fine....half a dozen. I wandered carefully by foot to the place I wished to be. I walked up....that was a bit testy. I tried to look kind of smart so as not be thrown out. I was introduced. Wow. After being denied alternate means of payment....I offered that I would be back after walking to cash machine. Twenty minutes later, I shakily presented myself. I was accepted.

I asked Bonnie if she would just "make me forget stuff for 1/2 an hour".....she kind of nodded, more than a bit confused but game. Suffice it to say that I was able to communicate sufficiently to get what I wanted out of that 1/2 hour. Bonnie is competent and fun....but that's based on my own mindspace of needing an escape at the time.

There it is, in the heart of Vancouver. Not a hotel. I used to see a lot of clients in that building.. it's gorgeous. Lots of good art in the offices.. law firms and accountants mainly if I remember right.

The address, though, gives me the shivers...

As for today, omg what a hassle. Fortunately, no one required me alert until this evening when I took my two darling babies out to the theatre. It was a lovely evening of enchantment and lively discussion. I am a blessed man.
