Ok so here's something even more random......I just had the dumbest conversation with someone I've ever had in my entire life.
This couple shows up here visiting from France....now remember, I live in butt hump nowhere, I'm two weeks from everywhere....and they insisted they had booked my house on some website.
Now I've got one of those faces that it's not real hard to tell when I'm unimpressed....and they insisted that I was to hand over the keys, like I lock my door anyways...to them ,so they could move in for three days.
The dude, or husband even tried to give me attitude...which didn't go over well...after 5 minutes of being the polite Canadian, they managed to turn me into a total asshole, which as some of you have guessed I'm pretty good at when someone tries to evict me from my own home.
I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell they really wanted.

It's possible that they are victims of a rental scam. There have been reports of scammers posting ads to rent out properties that belong to others via various web sites, doing all the transactions online and often "renting" out the properties to numerous unsuspecting victims. Be prepared for the possibility of more victims to show up at your door expecting to have rented your place. If it happens again, try to find out where they found the ad for the rental and maybe a call to your local LE to report the scam.

It also struck me as strange how aggressive they were, first it was her, then the husband/boyfriend gave me attitude.
Until I stepped up to him, looked down at him, and informed him he was standing on my property, and I wasn't happy about it.
I honestly thought they were just lost and trying to scam a free vacation rental, after seeing all my buildings...but you could be right...although they showed me a rental, which they had booked a month from now, in a location over an hour away....the iPhone was in French, and there's no signal here.
There was also a huge language barrier to help matters only get worse....their English was limited, and my way of talking is hard for most Canadians to understand.
