Yesterday, I was anticipating making this really cool new desk/table thing...I had watched the forecasts and they said high of 8 by the weekend and sunny and yada yada...so, as my "shop" is the garage, I thought...perfect day to be building this. I went out early...bought the wood...came back...unloaded...*fuck, I can see my breath*....
It never did get warm yesterday. And, I noticed it took a bit of mental stiffness to hold my course on the task at hand. Were I not careful, I would have let the disappointment of not having a warm, comfortable environment (as anticipated) take away from my ability to do the work. As it was, my anticipation of the day's forecast not being achieved most certainly did affect my pace and attitude.
In and of itself, this thread makes no sense I suppose. But what about that whole anticipation thing? As this is a perby type board, what's your best experience with an sp who completely dusted your anticipatory expectations (Mine was Miss T...reviewed in BDSM) Or...the worst? Or, for the sp's, your coolest client?...or, the worst?
Today, they are calling for a high of 4 C. I am calling bullshit and I will stay indoors and watch the final round of the Masters and the last game of the World Curling Championship. That way, I am sure my expectations for this day will be met. Plus, I'm lazy.
