Pretty concise IMO the guy highlights ALL of the DOOMSDAY prevarications as predicted by the alarmists that they did not happen.....and the time context is a very wide window.

Scientifically Humans have been on the 3rd rock from the sun and evolving for a really long time.....according to Biblical Scripture(Christian) we have been around for a couple of thousand years( and screw those factual things such as dinosaur skeletons etc)

I fully agree that the "climate" on this planet has changed.....and it has changed many times.....sure as fuck I am not going through and Ice Age....though the recent Calgary winter sure felt like one.

Social Engineering that is happening via the education system is bad enough as is the really fucked up process of Political Correctness.The whole SHAM of Climate Change is being rammed down our collective throats and at the same time as tax payers we are paying for it whilst also hooking up ourselves to being taxed even more........I RESENT THIS.

They drilled down into the ice and read them like tree rings in Iceland.
Climate change has been happening from the beginning.....just never so quickly.
I've seen myself the fossilized palm trees in Alaska, as well as Oregon.....I've spoke to Inuit people that claim the winds have changed that never have blown before in the current directions...Their song line claims to reach back thousands of years.
Climate change is believed by indigenous people to be natural.....if it didn't evolve, the earth would die.
Change is the heartbeat of the earth, held within the sacred stones.
It is the rate of change that should be the concern....not the change itself.

But I'm just an uneducated cowboy, that couldn't hold a conversation with a scientist....so WTF do I know?

Life first appeared 3.5 billion years ago on this planet, the climate has changed many times from the completely toxic to what we have today. Over that time there’s been at least 5 extinction level events that have come close to wiping out all life on the planet. Our ancestors began evolving about 2.5 million years ago, the present group of smart ass apes came on the scene about 50,000 years ago. A small fraction of one percent of total history and yet we’re arrogant enough to believe we can change the climate.

The planet has evolved many times and will continue to evolve long after we’re gone until this planet is swallowed up as the sun evolves into a red giant in about 5 billion years.

It's not arrogance. It's empirical data. Yes the planet has been through worse, but our species wouldn't have survived that either. Arrogance is looking at trends and variances that have never been seen in recorded history and saying "eh, whatever, it's fine."

...the truth is climate change denial is a perfect fit for the conservative mentality though: the rates are such that it'll never be a significant concern in said conservative's lifetime, so worrying about climate change is worrying about someone other than yourself that you'll never meet, and that's socialism, so screw that, right?

Rather than getting into a debate about who believes what or who is right etc. I think following the money indicates who has the most to win by promoting the deniers' claims.

Koch Brothers have seeded a lot of money throughout society so many different groups are singing from the same song sheet.

In the 2016 election year, the Koch Brothers put up $900M of their own money, basically matching the Republican National Committee's funds dollar for dollar to continue the funding of their own spin on Climate Denial. Koch brothers are worth $90B FYI.

I guess you are not aware of "Cimate Gate" when tens of thousands of emails were leaked that exposed that a vast majority of "Climate Scientists" colluded with each other to falsify data/omit data and act togeather to discredit any other scientists who voiced discontent or were skeptical of the findings and thusly got labelled as a "Denier" which is pretty much akin to being called a "Heretic" during the Spanish Inquisition.

During the Middle Ages warming period CO2 levels were 8000 PPM....currently the planet sits at less than 400 PPM and that is after the Industrial Revolution......and a very large part of the world has not gotten the benefits of the Industrial Revolution.

When Climate Gate happened and the charlatans were exposed it was called "Global Warming".....now it is called "Climate Change"....and it is a sham.

Canadians will get hit with a National carbon tax and it will rise to $50 a ton 3 years AFTER the results of the next Federal election and at the same time this Carbon Tax will NOT lower emissions and Canada will not reach the Paris Climate agreement targets......one of the most IMPORTANT questions that needs to be asked of the incumbant Federal government....of the selfie king feminist is "Will your government spend tax payer money to buy carbon emission credits from other countries to meet Canada's climate change goals?"......and good fucking luck getting a yes/no answer on that question.....it would be dodged with the usual Lieberal rhetoric that is wordy and fancy and answers jack shit.

Sadly, that's what the right wing in North America has become. Poorly educated folks who distrust scientists and really anyone with an education.

They get all of their information from youtube, conspiracy sites and Sean Hannity, and just keep regurgitating that crap into their crazy echo chamber.

In-between, they nominate ignoramuses like Trump, Scheer and Kenney to lead them, because they figure the less education one has, the smarter he must be.

Next, they'll bring up the climategate canard.

If they ever need heart surgery, maybe they should get some guy with a youtube video to perform it.

That's what the Koch people do is throw money at scientists and universities to support their way of thinking. People distrust policians so it's easier to get the masses to believe in 'their scientists'.

If you view the Koch videos, it's easy to get the politicians to sign up. Otherwise the Koch people will get their machine to vote them out of office. Rubio Cruz et al signed it.
