That "gun control" law is a watered down piece of crap that won't do a damn thing to stop what's been going on and even then, the vast majority of republicans voted against it. The only reason they even bothered was to try to pick up votes in the suburbs of large cities, they are owned by the NRA lock stock and barrel.
They only care about votes you are right, I have guns but guns don’t kill people people kill people

I believe in Provincial and States rights and I think we need to maintain how our countries were framed. Health care is a State and Provincial power. In order for society to function we have to live by laws. This was a Constitutional decision not a health care decision. No rights have been lost here, they have been placed back to the State level where it’s supposed to belong. I don’t support the banning of abortion in the States taking that position, but that’s their right to decide, not the Feds.
A "Health care issue"?? Its about the choice of a woman to do as she wants with her body. Your saying that women don't have constitutional rights when it comes to their own bodies, and you are comparing it to an health issue...

Before Roe vs Wade was overturned, alot of republican states made laws, for women wanting to have an abortion, go to counselling, get an ultrasound, have the woman watch the ultrasound, its a form of mind warefare on the woman, who is making a choice about her personal self, and the state is interfering with her choice. Republican states made the getting of an abortion impossible because of all the loops a pregnant woman had to jump through. Most women are making this choice because they are poor and a child will hamper her and the father has run away or wants nothing to do with her (typical men attitude)... She ends up single..... Enforced slavery/being poor. Are the Republicans gonna spend out of their own pockets the care of that child... NO, so why force a woman to have a child when she does not want it.

The reality with Roe vs Wade, women could get an education and a career and a life, without the baggage of a kid who she had to support, because the state said she had to carry the fetus to term....

You see Roe vs Wade gave a woman options for her life, now with it overturned a woman doesn't have options. Again look at those state laws, enacted to hinder a woman's choice, steering her to carry the fetus to term. Most people call that brain washing..... I won't speak about how churches indoctrinate people into their beliefs and have to abide by the rules of the church or be given the heave-ho.... Most churches indoctrinate kids from a very young age... ever hear of Sunday School.....

Equal rights for everyone... Right?

This decision has to do with jurisdiction. Abortion is still legal in half the states.

First trimester, I’m OK with. After that and it’s pretty sketchy killing the fetus. That’s a different human living in the womb. You can’t just ignore that and claim it’s all about lifestyle for the mother. At some point, you’re killing a baby.

So what do you say to women who are in a state that has already triggered the ban on abortion? Southern states like Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi where many black families are already dirt poor and having an unwanted child puts them further in the cycle of poverty?

Let’s be clear about this issue it’s about race and poor people who happen to be black. They won’t get sufficient money from these Republican states to support having an unwanted child. You leave it up to these states to make the decision it will be disastrous for the poor.

This is why you keep this a Federal issue where all people are equal no matter where they live.

All these states have done is put poor families further into poverty. And the Republicans will sleep better at night because they saved another child from abortion. Pay for it? Fuck no, they won’t provide any money to support the children born into poverty. It’s ironic the Republicans did not support the bill to purchase more baby formula. They don’t care, period.

I'll take a left turn on this....

Dictatorship under Trump? Trump only?? Are you fucking kidding me ? How about the current retarded admin ( Turdeau & Biden ) enforcing rules to get the VAX, masks etc? You don't get vaxxed --- you get fired! Are you for f'n real? Tell that to everyone who lost their jobs because of that lol! Where were those people choices? Sure...their they had a choice, but..... they'd quickly be out of a job, and then struggle to feed their kids, pay mortgage etc. I know several that went through hell because of that! And now the world is pretty much back to normal and companies are eliminating those childish rules! Some companies are asking those employees back!! Dictatorship under Trump only? Give your tiny head a shake!

PS...spare me the " pandemic " bullshit!!
