Disappointed that no one has defended Nanaimo. The "Smell of money" (Harmac) only happens once in a while when the wind is in the wrong direction. That business has a reputation as a highly successful employee owned corporation. It seems that Nanaimo is so unpopular that it is the fifth fastest growing city in Canada.

I missed that slight against Nanaimo. Pretty regular drive through guy here on the way to my place at the Lake on Hwy 4. I don't think I have ever smelled anything untoward.
